[Resolved] Flipkart — Missing product and fraud | |||||
I had ordered Lenovo vibe K5 note mobile phone on saturday 24th september. The phone was expected to reach my home address in new delhi on thursday 29th september. In the evening when my mother reached home after work an employee of Flipkart company came and gave us a package with proper Flipkart packaging and label. My mother being tired from work went to the room and came back with the money of amount 13049 rupees. On giving the money the guy immediately tried to walk away but my mother just remembered that he had not taken any signature so she called him back to ask about it. The guy replied that the delivery details would be automatically updated in the system so my mother thought that since she had recieved a call from flipkart in the morning about system problems regarding signature in the machines, the guy was probably referring to that. Even though Flipkart had said that there would be no delivery the following day due to system problems we still recieved a package from them and my mother did not think for a second that those people would cheat us. On opening that package two packets of Parle-G were found. By that time the delivery person had run away. Since that time my family has been trying to contact Flipkart and they keep delaying the issue giving us different timings of the day to wait. First the company employees did not accept what we were saying and after some hours they told us to wait. Even after waiting till 7pm the next day no action was taken. After constant calls to their company on 30th september 2016 they said that they would give us the product within 10 days till 4th october. But today morning 1st october 2016 we recieved a message saying our order had been cancelled. No employee even bothered to call us about it just one message that too saying that they haven't been able to reach us which is completely untrue since an entire day was spent at home by my mother waiting for updates from flipkart. She does not get a paid leave might I add. Shes the only working parent in my family due to my parents divorce and 13049 is no small amount. My family has been cheated and lied upon. I would really like some action to be taken against this company for giving us a fake product, falsely taking our money and lying about everything as well as compensation for all the time we had to worry and waste. I would also like to be given the proper product in perfect condition with either the amount of money we paid or another product of our choice as compensation. Was this information helpful? | |||||
