[Resolved]  Durian Study Table — cheating - by delhi showroom rani jhansi road - s c agarwal.

This is to share the facts of the harrowing experience I had with your Durian authorized show room at Rani Jhansi Road at Delhi on 5 December 2012.

I bought a table for my children and the person who was present at the time was one Mr. S P Agrawal. I paid the total amount by credit card and cash. However I was given a receipt only for the credit card but not for the cash paid. The invoice no. is RJ/RI /123 book no – 3.

The next day I noticed to my horror that the table that I bought did not have the wood on the rear side and was taped by cello tape. I shared this with Mr. Agarwal and was told that someone who come to my house to repair the table. I told him that I expect a replacement but was told that it could only be repaired. This was indeed a big set back to me and i was surprised to get a disappointing response. I then immediately called the mumbai Durain office and spocke with mr ramesh tripathi to intervene and help. So far there is no response from the mumbai office aswell.



Since then I have been following up but neither has someone come to repair it nor has Mr. Agarwal taken my calls. I again went to the showroom but was met by a different person who refused to hear me out and asked me to contact only Mr. Agarwal. On the day i visited the showroom after several follow ups Mr. Agarwal came on his cel number he was rude, arrogant and callous and said I could make a complaint in the show room and wait for a response. i requested to meet his as i trusted him as he had sent a packed table to my home at round 9pm on the day of purchase, since the entire dealing from finalization of the table to payement, mr agarwal has done, how can he ignore a customer like this.


I am shocked that a reputed brand like Durian can behave like this and offer sub-standard products to its customers. This is a case of cheating and I accept someone to resolve the issue for me. if the same is not attended in the next three i would take necessary action as this has lead to a lot of mental stress due to follow ups / my children are unable to utilize the product which i had baught for there use. Durian compnay responsible representative has never even bothered to even give a call even once till date.

Durian is the worst manufacturer and moreover has a nastiest and shameful after sales service.
Had purchased their Bed and Sofa and horribly during installation itself the wood started breaking from corners.
Drawer of Wardrobe broke and came out. Since this shameless people claim warranty of 5 years, had called them several times but was treated like an alien.
Luckily once a person assured of visit by their carpenter, who never came. Have lost complete hope in this company but still believe that some day they might change the system and revert to customer being loyal on the brand name.
Any senior officials of Durian who cares to know true feedback from their customer, call the undersigned.
