I had bought car insurance from future generali : policy no - 2018-pba34725-fpv by paying hefty amount rs. 12, 923/- on october 30, 2018 through policy bazaar.
After comparing various policies, i decided to buy this policy as it showed me premium in my budget with all coverage. All inputs of no claim bonus and other was done. Even policy was issued.
On issuance, i realized they have spelled by surname “rut” instead of “raut”. I pursued with customer care immediately and got it rectified by providing rc copy.
Now in january 2019, i received email that i need to pay rs. 789/- towards ncb recovery amount and applicable inspection charges. I immediately called up customer care on january 17, 2019 around 6pm and customer acre informed me that i need not worry and this will be resolved.
Now today on january 22, 2019, i receive call to pay the amount else policy will be kept pending.
Why??? I have not claimed any insurance till date from any earlier policies, i have given correct inputs while purchasing policy.
Such way future generali is cheating with customers by misrepresenting the premium amount while buying policy and then sending such recovery emails to grab extra amount and threatening to discontinue policy. Why should i pay extra amount after purchasing policy.. Let the company give me in writing that they cheat customers by showing one premium amount and after purchasing they start threatening customers.
