GHMC — drain menace at road no. 5 of santoshima, nagar, colony ghmc malkajgiri

Address:500056

Dear sirs / madams,

We are again to sound loud that in pursuant to our complaint submitted earlier, the ssvr complex secretary has been carving further the drain nuisance to its gravity by digging a pit to slew the drain water into it, in spite of our serious objection.

Heedless to our appraisals that the 'manjeera pipeline' is passing underneath parallel to the edge of the road no.5 with every possibility of mixing up the drinking water with drain water, he has adamantly finished his diversion with a pipe in to the earth and closed the pit dug opposite to our premises to allow the soiled water to mix up with the drinking water (The encasing of earthen pipes through which the manjeera flows couldn't prevent the clouding of filthy waters due to reverse osmosis through the invisible pores).

The people of the surroundings are agitating over the issue since they are denied of (Pure) drinking water leading to severe health hazards adding up to the erstwhile continuous overflow of drainage previously and now at intervals.

We, therefore, appeal to you again that appropriate concrete steps shall please be initiated to solve the drain issue of the ssvr complex to save neighbouring public.

Thanking you.

Dear sirs,
Your kind attention is requested to refer our earlier submission of our grievance wherein we, the residents of surrounding area of rd. No.5 of santhoshimanagar colony, old safilguda, neredmet, under malkajgiri municipal corporation limits, requesting the concerned municipal authorities to resolve the issue of drain overflow on to rd. No.5 from the ssvr complex who had wrongly connected to the drain pipeline of small complexes downside the road with smaller pipe dia due to their little volumes of water drainout. This was the arrangement for the sewaging the small houses and limited residential units on the road in the year 2004. Later the ssvr complex developed with 21 + 4 residential/commercial units much to the disadvantage of the surrounds, since the borewell was dug for 1200mts, with 6.5" drilling (Whether permission was obtained or not?) causing our less depth bores had dried up; the voluminous seweraging was not properly slewed. One way they had piped out on to west side and the overcubed waters are unauthorizedly connected to our small drain piping causing the stormwater to overflow on the road since unable to copeup the incapacitated
Drain casings. This caused us a severe stagnation of bad waters emitting bad smell, breeding the mosquitoes and causing malaria, dengue, flu and whatnot. We, therefore, approached enmasse the ssvr complex secretary mr. Sreenivas, pressurized him to arrest temporarily duly appealing to you to resolve the problem by putting a proper drainage system for the ssvr and to the rd.5 surrounding units. A copy has also been submitted to the colony president also, who has also promised to try his best for solving it.
But, the complex secretary has created a nuisance by digging a pit near our premises for engulfing his overflowing waters into it without noticing that the manjeera pipeline is passing underneath that area supplying to the residents downside. This will cause mixing up of the drain water into drinking water and may result in breaking of endemic diseases to the residents where small kids, senior citizens and official lot are dwelling. This he does without the permission from any civic bodies or by arranging an alternate casings for manjeera and that too not in his premises. This amounts to creating a severe public nuisance and deniel of rightful drinking water to other public which may lead to law and order problem.
We, therefore, request you to please intervene and first arrest his nuisance creation of digging pit in others premises where manjeera pipeline exists. We also request you to kindly look out for a permanent solution of the ssvr drain water sewage avoiding to flow to stagnate on the road resulting health and sanitation problem.
Thanking you.
Yours faithfully,
