I have booked a cab for 21st april 4:30pm from ooty to bnagalore on 18th of apr and paid the advance 15% amount as asked. I was continuously following-up from gozo team about my booking and they were assuring me that booking is confirmed each day.
Later, on the 21st night 00:37 am i got a message from gozo that we are unable to find any cab and refunding your advance amount. I tried reaching to support agent which didn't helped me in any way.
As i booked the other convience at last point of time, i end-up paying double the normal charges for cab plus my entire plan for 21st got ruined up.
While taking the advance from me, it bounds a legal agreement between me and firm to provide me services, merely refunding the advance doesn't cover the damages. If they have told me before or doesn't took the advance from me i would have looked out for other options but due to gozo services i ended up paying rs.500 more. So to cover the total damages from agreement, i claim rs. 500 to be given me as compensation to me from gozo.
