My parents had travelled to Manipal on a medical emergency on the 27th oof January, 2023. They were unable to find any hotels with vacancies due to some rush in the city due to some event. I was trying to help them out by booking a place. I stumbled upon a '1 room left' at Country Inn and Suites by Radisson, Manipal and the booking partner available as HappyEasyGo. I did not think twice as my parents had been struggling for hours. I went ahead and booked it, paid the full amount and got the booking confirmation.
However, upon arrival the hotel turned down my parents saying that there are no rooms available and they have not received any booking from HappyEasyGo. My parents showed the booking confirmation and other related documents but nothing helped.
I decided to contact customer support. There are 4 contact numbers provided on the website. 2 of those numbers were wrong and the other 2 were unreachable. They "24/7 customer support" on their webpage is a FAQs section and it is basically impossible to get in touch with them.
I quickly sent them a mail, it has been 2 days now and I have not even received an acknowledgement. I mailed once again today, still not reply. In addition to this, I even sent a message on twitter, as well as put out a tweet. No response even then. It says everything is completed, but my parents slept in the car. This is not acceptable.
I'm hoping putting this complaint here will finally get through to them.
