Horrible experience for getting refund for flight cancelled by airline. I've recently started using happyeasygo, some of the deals they offered were much better that others. Everything is fine till there are no changes in the itinerary, but everything goes haywire once there is a change. I booked a flight from pune - bangalore for 25-mar-19, but the flight has been cancelled by the airline. Although their website (& even e-ticket) asks to go for refund though them instead of airline, but when i called their call center the executive asked me to contact the airline. When i called airline, they asked me to contact the agent for refund (This all took ~3-4 calls and ~1.5 hrs of my time, and a lot of hassle). Then i dropped them a mail, still haven't heard from them. Then i called their call center again, this they asked me to cancel using portal, but their portal is showing refund amount as rs. 0 even when the flight has been cancelled by airline. Till now there is no update on my mail / refund status. They've denied to refund the convenience fee of rs. 250, whereas all other portals provide a full refund (Including convenience fee) in case the flight is cancelled by airline.
