Booked a flight from Patna to Chennai for 25th March. Due to lockdown the flight got cancelled. I was in touch with indigo airline and they refunded the amount to happyeasygo in September 2020. I got in touch with HappyEasyGo customer care and they asked me to cancel the ticket in the mobile app. I cancelled the ticket with proper screen shots and email from indigo. The status from that time says refunding in the mobile app for that ticket.
I tried reaching out to them over phone in Oct 2020 beginning but they were unreachable. I tried to send them an email on [protected]@happyeasygo.com with all details. They did reply giving me a Case ID:[protected]. They said I need to wait for 90 days to get the refund processed. I told them that I had talked to goIndigo customer support and they have credited to happyeasgo account.
Every time I just received a robotic message saying kindly wait for 7 to 10 or 4 to 5 working days every time. They even asked my bank details twice for the refund processing.
I even escalated the issue to rajesh.[protected]@happyeasygo.com, [protected]@happyeasygo.com, [protected]@happyeasygo.com, [protected]@happyeasygo.com. But now I am not receiving any response on my refund status.
In nutshell, HappyEasyGo seems to a BIG FRAUD company. Please refrain from booking at happyeasygo at all means.
As a proud tax filer and an honest citizen, I wanted to spread this message. Hope it helps some if not all.
