HappyEasyGo — Non receipt of refund

I, Adv. Shraddha Chheda, had booked two tickets for Mumbai to Phuket and cancelled the same from the airline directly due to passport issue as advised by your customer care executive. I was told that the amount will be refunded within 45 days. I had cancelled the ticket on 11th May, 2022. Even after 45 days from cancellation of the tickets, I did not receive a refund and then called on the customer care number on 23rd July, 2022. I was told that the amount will be refunded within a week.

Again after one week, I called the customer care number on 01st August, 2022, the customer care executive, Ms. Priyanka informed that it will still take one to two weeks and that on the website it states that the refund will be processed within 45 to 90 days. After checking on the website, I have come to know that the refund should be processed within 10 to 15 days, contrary to what I was told by Ms. Priyanka.

This is totally unacceptable and gross negligence on your part. I call upon you to refund the amount along with interest @ 28 % p.a. from the date of cancellation of the ticket. This mail is being marked to the Consumer Forum also and I am in the process of filing a consumer complaint and tweet on your Twitter handle, so that other people are also aware about your negligent practices.
My Wife Shraddha Chheda had mailed the company on 1st August & to it we got reply mail as follows.

We regret for the inconvenience.
We have raised your concern.
Kindly allow us sometime to get back to you with an update.
We shall try our best to update at the earliest
We request you to kindly bear with us.
Note:-Convenience fee, insurance, the Premium fee(if there) are non- refundable.
Happyeasygo executives or representatives will NEVER ask you for your personal information i.e. your card details, passwords, PIN, CVV, OTP, etc. DO NOT share these details with anyone over the phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email, or any other source.

It has been 17 days to the acknowledged reply & 98 days from cancellation, still we have not got our refund.
