I booked a hotel in swissotel kolkata from 17th to 20th november 2019 on 3rd of november 2019 with 17751/-.
The same morning they called me to inform that swissotel is not agreeing on such low amount so they want me to confirm the cancellation and refund on 3rd november 2019. I had no other choice but to agree.
They are showing a rate and they cannot even book on that rate.
It's 22nd october 2019 today and in between i have mailed them several times and i called them number of times. But they are still saying that it will take another 7-10 working days from today.
From 3rd october it is 22nd october and still 10 working days!!!
The reason they stated is that the hotel is having a technical glitch so they are not initiating the refund.
Swissotel is a renowned hotel and it will never do such things. So i called them and they said that they have had no booking under my name on that date.
So basically happy easy go itself is blocking the money for no reason.
The mail got unreplied the calls got unanswered after that.
What should i do?
I want to file a case against them.
They simply cheat people and i don't know if i will get my money back or not?
Please help.
