In May 2021 i had booked two tickets on Happy easy go with additional fees for cancellation protection. The Air India flight got delayed and we cancelled the ticket with full refund. For two years i have been following up with Happyeasygo. They have not refunded the money with the comment that they are following up with Air India. Air India has confirmed the full refund of fees withing 15 days of date of travel.
In the mean time happyeasygo made my parents fill up a form for Air India without any official content of air india like logo etc. and submit passport as identity proof. Post having done that they completely ignored the process and stopped talking about the documentation.
Below is the latest communication from them. I have 23 such canned replies from them over the last 2 years. The order ID is mentioned. They have held over 17 thousand INR without paying interest for 2 years now.
