Hathway Cable & Datacom — bills even after disconnection | |||
Hathway acc # 1279160 This account was disconnected way back in 2015, can you please help me to understand the usage, and provide all bills for 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018? My ask is simple, you must have a ticket where i requested for disconnection of internet services and was acknowledged by one of your executive, still bills were randomly generated. I did even receive calls from your executive asking reason for disconnection which i explained. I do have an email from your executive asking reason for disconnection which i replied back. This itself confirms there was a disconnection request which was actioned..! I was called to offer best plans and switch to hathway. Now these calls to offer plans will only be made when i am not a customer already on hathway isnt it? I am now being asked to pay a hefty amount for which i am not responsible at all! 1. I have not received any notices from you over email, calls or written document via postal services. Even if you claim they were sent who acknowledged them? If they were not delivered at address, they must have been sent back to you and a call is expected as a next step of intimating customer isnt it? 2. I have noticed that multiple times password was reset for the account i used when i had your connection - now these requests were not made by me, so who did them? (Since the mobile number was somehow my own in records, i got to know that but i was no longer using you service then!) guess account was alloted to someone else? 3. I was told that a consumer forum case is registered and i am informed about it at 11.30 am on 26th saturday, forcing me to pay bill of 12k (Including bill arrear, advocate fee which isn't mine obviously) by 1 pm same day! So 1.5 hrs for me to know and action? Else i should be ready before the honourable court in delhi on monday the 28th! Is this so easy for someone in just a day? Even your complaint redressal needs 48 working hours... Again why notices were not sent to me if so? What i don't understand is i am the consumer, how can a company raise consumer complaint? 4. Each and every transaction, usage, tickets i logged and calls made to me by your executive asking reasons for disconnection should be available in your systems, i need to know the details and move accordingly. How do i retrieve these? A company which is falsely looting from their previous customer can provide details legitimately? 5. If i call cc# [protected], the ivr fails to get information on said account and states no info found! True isnt it because i am not your customer from mid 2015! You can check from the usage as well, not even a single byte is used because there was no connection at all!! So who should file case on whom now? You or me? You have hired a full time advocate to call people and threaten about legal action? For a customer in hyderabad, what isnthe jurisdiction? New delhi? Was this information helpful? | |||
