Hathway — Connection and your sales person issue.

Hi, my account number is [protected]. Today itself my internet got installed, however, your salesperson Pramod in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad has made false claims of speed and installation date. I have been in a great hassle for the whole 2 days and got false promises of 50 MBPS speed and I contacted your CUSTOMER service for cancellation and wanted a refund and she assured for a refund but then manipulated me for keeping the connection which I did not want. Then, the cable guy came and they were very rude and simply said we are here for cabling and I told not to do but they said that CALL TO the salesperson only. They were simply ready to make a scene at my home, then internet was installed after 1 day of promise date, but from morning onwards my internet is not getting full speed and we can barely download anything at the promised speed. I am getting high ping and the worst part is wifi router, a very third class router is installed, not even possible to play games. Before your internet, I had Excitel with same speed of 50 MBPS but did not face any issue with speed at all. Simply I am really frustrated over your false claims and I have all the recordings of that person, I simply do not want this internet at my home and want my full refund. I complained within 8 hours after installation and made numerous calls to CUSTOMER but nobody seems to care about it. I have paid for the whole 6 months and believe me I will go to court if I am not get refunded. I changed my internet because of my Work From Home but this internet caused me a lot of problems on the very first day and faced a lot of distortions. I can get be dismissed from my company over any mistake because of this ### internet. Just simply cancel my subscription and provide me full refund. I do not want to go to court but believe me if there will be any need then I won't hesitate to go to consumer court.

See, how they are degrading their services. Also, contacted customer care and my request was closed by them without even any contact. Contacted them with numerous emails but no response till now. Pathetic they are. I work in customer support and everyday because of this internet, I am getting a lot of escalation from my company and my work is being hampered all the time. This is affecting my career as well. Provide me my refund, that is all I need because I know that there will not be any solution.

I have already emailed to their Nodal officer and waiting for the response from him/her now. Let's see how customer obsessed they really are.

This is third day and still no response from their team and no response from nodal officer, still speed is not at all satisfactory and ping is higher. Contacted through Twiiter but no response. Is not it cheating if we are paying for 50MBPS and not getting the same speed?

Should I file case in consumer forum?

Even though, now speed has increased but this ping is unbearable and unable to even surf the internet smoothly. As I already informed that I need to do Work from office, this internet is not at all working for that. There is no response from that team now. I want my money refund.
