I am getting numerous calls from hathway daily to renew my connection and everyday they are selling me offers even though I have disconnected from there service and there team has also taken away the wifi router.
Still they are harassing me by calling daily from different numbers.
I was registered under Gaurav Sharma-[protected] on hathway broadband service.
Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    I have renewed my internet services in April 2023 and In the month of May 2023 My internet stopped on 28th May. I Logged complain on 30th may and this is 10th from the date I logged complaint. I already talked to customer care and raised ticket but nothing happened on execution front. I then talked to appellate authority named "Krunal Makwana", "Priya Khreadiya". These are deaf people and sounds like a robot. Even after 10 days they are not ready to commit any timelines. So I had left no choice but to ask for refund for remaining days but they were so adament to offer me refund on the name of policy.

      Hi
      I've already returned the hathway device but I'm receiving atleast two calls each day from hathway to pay for the account.

      Please help with disconnection and account closure and no more calls from hathway. There calls are borderline harassment

        Sales man made fake promises of providing 150+ tv channels and ott subscriptions with 300 mbps speed WiFi .Just the WiFi has been installed and data speed is not as promised .no OTT and no TV channels which are promised .when tried contacting him, salesman is not picking up the call and when complaint has been raised Hathway is ignoring for whatever had happend .They simply looted around 3k from me and now no body responds

          Dear Sir,

          On 23rd April I subscribed GTPL Genie (Entertainment Channels on TV through internet), but most of the channels are not working so on 26th April I sent mail to their customer care as under:

          "Dear sir,

          Most of the channels are not working due to code not received or wrong code received. For mx player it promotes that will be updated shortly. My subscription 🆔 is [protected].

          I also called customer care number[protected]. But the attendant Mr. Neeraj said that I have to sand mail.

          Please note that at the initial stage of subscription such complaints are shameful for reputed company like yours.

          Hope you will do needful atleast after received my email.

          After more than one month passed there is no real action from them on the other hand they are sending the identical foolish reply every time.

            Brought a internet connection of hathway 2 yr back used it for while a year.I have shiffted to another provider
            after telling then all the incidents i requested them to please remove my mobile number from your server 1000 times.
            Still they are calling me 10 times a day from different numbers.

              I submitted a surrender request to Hathway and the online portal shows that it was resolved. But still I receive more than at least 5 calls a day proposing some offers and asking the reason for surrender. I requested them politely so many times to collect the modem but still they keep calling me endlessly from different numbers. This is w.r.t account number cable TV [protected] and broadband [protected]. I already moved to a different service provider.

                On october 2022, i got my hathway connection got cut due to rain. I've waited for few days and called hathway team to repair the connection but they spoke so rude and did not resolve my problem. so i brought new connection from different company. after a week later they send the technician and we said we brought new connection and later called the team and said to disconnect the internet and take back the router. later from December 2022, on daily basis hathway team started to harass me to get the connection back. i said lot of times that disconnect it because i got new connection and said to take their modem back. but no, hathway decide to harass me by bombarding with their calls like 15 to 20 calls per day and that too different numbers. i've blocked like 50 numbers so far from hathway and till now they somehow manage me to call and harass me my speaking rudely and threaten me with foul words. now in the month of may 2023, i get mail, message and calls from hathway department saying either i have to pay rs 441 to renew or return the modem/ router back which i threw few months back because they failed to collect. or to pay extra 2500 to disconnect. I paid the deposit amount for the router when i purchase this hathway connection. so i don't even know why they ask for modem or extra charges instead of disconnecting. I really want hathway to remove my information from their data base and never call and torture me again. Please resolve my problem.

                  Even my last complaint was marked as resolved, still i am getting calls from Hathway internet. They are talking very rude. He used very bad words, i got call from the number [protected]. I never seen this kind of worst network.

                    GTPL is bad company, i am taking internet connection and after 1month i canceled he commitment that we give you amount refund or give you connection at your home.

                    Now he not give amount as well as connection.

                    Don't Take his Internet because he give bad service and bad commitment.

                      Customer service in Chennai City

                      We had a connection issue in our hathway broadband network. We are continuously trying to reach the customer care service and also we contacted the customer service representative in Chennai but they are not responding properly. The are not considering our request to resolve our network problem. It's seriously affecting our job.. because we had hybrid model.. so have to connect from home for 2days...

                        Hi my account number was [protected]. I had disconnected my connection 6 months back and no linger interested to take again.. pls stop calling me for new connection / renewal.. hope this message hits the high authorities .I am very much irritated bcoz of these calls. I will not recommend others to take services from Hathway. I never seen this kind of torcher from Hathway.

                          I am writing to file a complaint against Hathway, an internet service provider based in Hyderabad, Ameerpet location. On 08/05/2023, I took the internet connection with 100 MBPS by paying Rs1944. However, after the installation of the wifi box at my location, the service provider did not respond to my calls or messages for the activation of my plan.

                          As a working professional, I rely heavily on the internet for my day-to-day activities, and the lack of response from Hathway has caused me significant distress. I have been unable to complete my office work on time due to the internet issue, and my managers and team leaders have been pressuring me to meet deadlines, which I am unable to do.

                          I would like to request that the Consumer Court take appropriate action against Hathway for their negligence and lack of response to my requests for activation of the internet connection. My Hathway account number is [protected], and the contact details of the service providers are [protected] and [protected] (Naga Kotaiah).

                          I urge you to take prompt action in this matter and ensure that Hathway provides me with the internet connection that I paid for and that they fulfill their obligations as a service provider.

                            Last three months, I have raised a complaint with respect to LOS and poor connectivity issue. As the issue persist and I found that it is of no use to raise the complaint on technical issue. I requested for disconnection and refund. I have made a payment quarterly. I have not received any response. Till last month, they took their own time to resolve and requested for non closure. We are working from home. Because of this issue, I faced lots of challenges mentally, financially. But it was of no use.

                            three days before, I just enquire the next flat regarding the network operator that they have used. And I came to know that he is using same provider. Within three feet he is getting good connectivity, where as I am facing poor connectivity. often I am getting LOS also. I have been using Hathway for the last four to five years. Now I am literally unhappy.

                            Last three months, I faced a lot. Kindly raise a refund.

                              My hathway account no is [protected] and i request the company to disconnect my services immediately as i have stopped using the net connection already. I have also moved to different location.

                              I have placed requests over customer care multiple times, but it is still not getting disconnected.

                              Please disconnect the connection and stop calling again and again daily.

                                  I have not done recharge of hathway almost in last 1 year. Even I called them to take back router but they didn't came. Now almost after 1 year they send me mail to return router or pay 2500 rs. Now I don't have that router so how I am supposed to return it.

                                    Router recovery harassment

                                    Even after repeatedly telling the telemarketers from Hathway that my router has been recovered and sending multiple complaint mails to the hathway support, I am getting calls almost everyday about not handing over the router and legal consequences that will be imposed. I want this daily harrasment to stop, even if it means that I will have to pay 2500 bucks....

                                    I am moving out of India and asked for my account termination and cancellation for which Hathway has replied with this below mail:
                                    "This is further to the mail, we regret to inform you that the plan which you have opted for is a prepaid plan and its a one time billing amount for which refund is not applicable.

                                    Further, we request you kindly submit the device for further account termination."

                                    So, I decided to transfer my account to my other family member, still maintaining my account, to a new area which later realised as unserviceable by Hathway. Still the customer care responded passively and asked to submit the device.

                                    If I will not utilise the service, where is my already paid money going?
                                    May I demand an explanation on what grounds can't I get a refund?
