Hathway — harassment / torture

I use hathway internet connection in bangalore. Due to covid-19, i stuck in my hometown and waiting for situation to be normal and restrictions lifted to travel, till then i dont see any reason to recharge my internet connection as there is none to use it.
I explained the same to hathway and they acknowledged, still i get multiple calls daily from hathway customer care to recharge my account. I even asked them to deactivate/surrender my connection, and will activate once i am back still they dont stop. I am going through lot of things here, and these calls just irritating more leading to a mental stress.

My elderly parents living in Chennai are being harassed by Hathway. Initially my parents had Hathway connection and they disconnected as they didn’t require. Few months back when the Covid situation started they had registered again for Hathway broadband connection. But nobody from Hathway came to my parents’ house to provide the connection. Initially when they called the answer was in Covid situation no employees are available to provide the connection. Later when my parents asked for the money to be refunded, Hathway said that the connection is already provided and hence they won’t give the money back. My parents had raised complaints but no reply was provided. But my parents were getting messages on their mobile and call from customer care to pay the charges. Hence they placed a disconnection request. Nobody from Hathway came to my parents’ house to collect the old modem. But Hathway customer care is sending messages and emails that they will take legal action if they do not return the modem. My parents had sent multiple emails, called customer care and informed them but still they are being harassed in emails and SMS messages in their mobile of legal action and to pay the money for the modem.
I am also facing the issue with Hathaway i have moved from one location to another location so I stopped recharging my Hathaway account and these executives repeatedly calling me and torturing me I have told them 100 times I am not in location now so I want to discontinuing from Hathaway please take my request and take the router back but. They say they will update it in system but again same daily 3 to 4 calls I am getting. Of customer don't want your service why your guys are torturing understand the things hathway
Everyday I am getting repeated calls from Hathway even after surrendering the modem. I have sent a mail to stop my account and yet I am getting around 10 calls a day from these idiotic ###. I have scolded many people over the phone, but it's of no use. Wonder how to escape from these calls. Have already blocked around 50 to 100 numbers, still getting repeated calls. Kindly help me to sort out this issue. Deeply frustrated.

Due to the Panedamic situation, I moved to home town since then Hathway torturing with daily calls for 2 3 times now with IVRS to return the device or make a recharge, I keep on saying once return back to Chennai will continue services. I am really pissed off with their calls at very odd hours pathetic guys.

I am also facing same issue is Hathway...
Even I was in hospital also these ### are calling and torchering like hell.

I have dropped a mail to close the connection as I have left Hyderabad and came to Visakhapatnam due to covid.

How to handle this case.

Please help.

I am also going through harassment from hathway.

Though i am not at Hyderabad, I made an arrangement to return their instruments also. After taking instruments they are calling again to renew account. And asking for a FINE amount stating that insturment were submitted lately.

How can we take this issue. They are not doing business genuinely. Lets raise the issue.

There should be second name for this brand i.e. Hathway Torture. soo many calls... been a year I discontinued hathway due to their misbehaving staff and never able to reach customer care on time. They will keep calling for reconnection and their best offers. Then comes the issue for device submission. Already hathway guy collected but don't know why they will keep blaming customers for not handing over the device.. this has been an issue for more than a year. everyday from morning 9 till evening 8, 3-5calls they will make and they will end up abusing these days. Every single day I have to add their new numbers to block list. it has been frustrating now. i curse myself now. why i took hathway.

This Hathway stupid system is very useless. They are illiterate it seems. Getting 3 calls per day for the past month. Checking my patient’s. I don’t want to be Hathway consume anymore.
Same is happening with me as well. I told them many times to disconnect my account and take the router back if required or wait till i recharge next time. But they call every day from different different numbers 50 times and ask to recharge. I'm keep on blocking each numbers everytime but still I get call from new number next day.. I wonder how they have so many numbers. I don't know how to get rid of this torture. They are not even disconnecting my account and taking back the router.
Actually I am not getting angry on Hathaway. Getting angry on consumer complaints so many people getting irritated frustrated still they can’t do any thing. sir they simple use loop holes on system touring people. I was in traffic suddenly got call continuously that is their call. I met with accidentally. Still we can’t do anything.
