Hathway — Issued a different plan than what was paid for | |||
I took an 1Mbps Unlimited (no speed reduction) internet connection plan in December. After about 2 weeks, the speed reduced considerably. After calling the customer care, I got to know that a totally different plan was given to me. I had called them on 31st December and raised a complaint (#[protected]. The executive told me that it would be resolved in 72 hours. I didn't get time to follow up for a week but as I could see, the speed was still less. I called them on 7th January again and the customer care executive told me that the team is still working on it. When I told him that the complaint was raised on 31st and it has been over 7 days and nothing has been done about it where it should have been resolved within 3 days! He said that will mark the complaint as priority and send it back to the technical team. On being asked how much time will it take to get resolved, he told me that it will take 7 more days! I told him it was totally impractical as I will be losing half a month over all due to this and this is very wrong. I demanded that my remaining money be refunded and the connection disconnected and he said that that won't happen. I told him to connect me to his supervisor or his team leader and then for a few seconds there was no response and then the call was disconnected. I tried again today and asked to talk to the supervisor. The executive put my call on hold and I was on the call for a long time and no one picked up. I had to disconnect the line. I immediately started a call recording app and then called them again. I told the executive in the beginning that your the was being recorded and I could use it later if I do not get response from you. I explained the whole scenario to the lady executive and asked to connect me to her supervisor. She agreed to that and put me on hold. I waited for more than 5 minutes but no one picked the call again!! I had to disconnect. Please look into this and let me know what should be done. I have the call recording with me.
