To whom so ever this may concern,
I Niyati Saraf recently subscribed to Hathway Broadband Internet Service and got a new connection, but due to unforeseen setbacks, I cancelled my connection and returned the modem device at the Hathway Office and hence I would like to kindly request for a refund.
I am a resident of Damodar Society, Bibwewadi and I got the new connection on 9th Dec 2020, I had subscribed to the 3 month plan of 300 gb per month 50 mbps and paid an amount of ₹ 2831/- online.
I frequently had a connection issue and the internet was lost every few minutes and had to call the customer care every now and then. The call itsel[censored]sed to take very long to connect and inspite of informing them numerous times, my problem was not rectified. I had to make 6-7 calls per day to the customer care service and at the local office. I was disappointed and let down by both of the facilities. Their service was not upto the mark and even after reconnecting and switching on and off the router, my internet was failing to connect.
In these covid times, me being a student have to attend regular online classes and for that, I required a stable and reasonable internet connection which Hathway failed to provide so. Furthermore, I then visited the Hathway Cable and Datacom Pvt Ltd. On JM Road Pune and cancelled my current subscription and submitted the device. You can find the scanned receipt attached of the same.
From the 9th of Dec, 2020 the day I got the connection to the 15th of Dec, I barely could use the internet service and faced many major inconveniences. Therefore I kindly request for a refund of above- mentioned sum and fulfil my grievance.
