Hello,

I am 8+ years old customer of hdfc bank. My account no. Is [protected], i also have credit card with hdfc bank but in last few months i am watching that hdfc bank keep deducting some charges called amb charges.in starting of a/c the hdfc person told me that it is zero balance a/c but then why hdfc bank charging me again and again?

As per my knowledge reserve bank of india has not issued any guidelines regarding the minimum balance to be maintained in savings bank accounts.

Amb charges on 14 nov - 708rs
Amb charges on 14 nov - 571 rs
Amb charges on 17 nov - 0.03 rs
Amb charges on 4 dec - 136 rs
Amb charges on 11 dec - 708 rs

Kindly reverse the charges and keep the promise of zero balance a/c as the hdfc person told me at the account opening otherwise i m going to consumer court and will change my banking company if i do not get satisfactory reply.

The debit in your account pertains to Average Monthly Balance of Rs. 10000.00 not maintained in your account in the months of October 2017 and November 2017. The charges have been levied correctly as per the Bank's Schedule of fees and charges. You are required to maintain an Average Monthly Balance of Rs. 10000.00 in your account. Average Monthly Balance is calculated out at the end of the month. This is the average of the closing credit balance in the Account at the end of each day during the calendar month (i.e. a total of the daily closing credit balance divided by the total number of days during the month). In case this average is less than the minimum prescribed for your account, the charges for non-maintenance will be levied at the beginning of the following month along with the GST at the applicable rates. Updated by Abhinav910 At the time of Opening This Bank A/C i was told by HDFC person that it is a zero balance A/C. But now HDFC bank wants me to keep 10, 000 always, And If i go below to this amount Bank deduct Penalty. What type of Banking it is ? How zero balance A/C can become a Minimum balance of 10, 000 A/c in 8 Years ?

My credit card Payment has been debited me with minimum amount of Rs. 1447.84 And therefore Rs. 4366.72 total due. Please furnish would I get Rs. 1447.84 debited me As a Minimum amount due

Hi,

I had a look on my account and I found that HDFC is keep charging me for some NarrationINST-ALERT CHG INC GST in every 3 months.

Look I was not aware about these charges and I am looking for my full refund from last year till today and I don't want to see these charges on my account in the future.
