[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — account blocked despite documents submitted for rekyc

I have a nro account with hdfc (Customer id:[protected] and facing the same issues from last 3 weeks. I have received an email that my account is blocked due to rekyc non compliance. I have sent the documents several times to rm as well as the hdfc central team but no actions have been taken so far. I have spoken to customer support team who advised to change my address though my address proof of resident permit was allowed. I followed their advise but still no actions have been taken. My rm even wrote to hdfc central team but nobody is replying to rm's email even. To add my woes, all credits has been blocked and i can't remitt from overseas. Moreover, hdfc issued interest certificate on my fixed deposits and i am at complete loss that how it will get deposited when credits are blocked.

Now i feel annoyed and dejected and thinking to visit india and seek legal advise to get my money back. Will not recommend to open anybody new accounts in hdfc
