I got an email from HDFC on 4th March that my account is temporarily blocked due to an address change intimation letter got undelivered. I spoke with my RM and she asked me to visit the nearest branch. On 14th March, i visited the Mahadevapura branch (HDFC0001045) and explained the issue. They told my account is not blocked only netbanking facility is blocked (eventhough i explained and showed the mail from HDFC bank, they were unable to understand the real problem). After resetting netbanking also, nothing happened. Again i visited the same branch on 21st March 2022 and my RM spoke to the concerned people (as they were not sure what needs to be done to solve this issue) and i have done my finger-print update through Adhaar and some request has been raised. I have been told that bank representatives will come to my address for verification within 3-4 days. That also did not happen till today. On 21st March 2022, my account got fully blocked. Now it has been 17 days since i first visited the branch and still this issue is not resolved. I am unable to use my own money for the last 26 days.
I want to know when account will be unblocked and what is the correct procedure to do the so? As this is my salaried account, i am afraid whether April month salary will it be credited? If not again i have to run behind my company explaining all these issues. Kindly fix this problem ASAP. Was this information helpful? |
