I made a purchase on the 02/06/2021 using HDFC credit card, the card had an offer of receving INR 5000 cashback after 3 months. Its been 6 months and I still havent received my cash back. Everytime I call them their agents tell me something different. Its been three months I am dealing with this, this time I spoke to Junaid Khan, he told me a different story for me not reciving my cash back and when I told him this not what previous agent said and to check the records he told they dont keep records. How is this even possible for a banking and finance compay of not recording what the customer or their agents are saying, is this even legal.
When I requested for supervior they hung up on me, I was on call for 20 mins.
Is this even allowed?
