[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — charged a autopay return charges

Address: Solapur, Maharashtra, 413401

My credit card payment date is 8 of each month,

Due to insufficient balance auto pay transaction failed.

Once i got the message 'immediately on same day' i paid amount by net banking.

Though i got amount of payment return fee 450 as in my credit card unbilled transactions.

Why amount is being deducted if i paid on same day itself... Why this fine..

Want refund of this amount on my account

HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer,

We wish to inform that we had attempted to claim the amount from your savings account basis the instruction is given to us and the same was returned due to insufficient funds. As you may be aware, any payment returned would attract a payment return charge. In view of the same, the autopay return fee has been levied. We request you to maintain sufficient balance in your bank account henceforth to enable us to carry out your instruction effectively and to avoid levy of autopay return charges on your card account. Fastag application has been submitted with HDFC and the payment was successful. However I have not received any email or official confirmation on when this will be received. I have called their customer service number [protected] which is always busy or not responding my application reference is HFR840077.

In my account some amount is hold on mi revenue hold through gefu..customer care is not properly responding...I want know why the amount is in hold
