HDFC Bank — Cheque Clearing

My husband had deposited a cheque of Rs.50000 in my HDFC bank account on 09.10.2025 in Madurdaha Branch in Kolkata. Still now the amount is not created to my account. There was some vague replies made like typically mistake in the cheque but no proof had been provided by the bank.So, I had raised complaint to HDFC Bank on 04.11.2025.Still now no proper reply has come from HDFC Bank. Where is the physical cheque & what the status of clearing nothing had been disclosed by the bank. Why this type of casual approach begin shown by a private bank. Who will pay the interest accured against this amount. I want a clear reply against the cheque and why they showed such a peculiar customer service even when my father in law had went to the branch for the enquiry of the cheque, no proper reply had been given. Being a senior citizen, the bank is harrassing him like anything.
Kindly look into the matter immediately.
