This is in continuation to our interim response dated 27.05.2014 regarding your HDFC Bank credit card account.
It is unfortunate to note that your recent interactions with the Bank has not been up to your satisfaction. On receipt of your email, we have taken a detailed review of your card account and wish to share the following with you.
We observe from our records that your credit card was used for transactions/purchases until 15.09.2013. However, specific to repayments, we were not in receipt of regular payments towards the card dues since April' 2013. The same resulted in levy of applicable bank charges, as elucidated in the card usage guide and on the reverse of the credit card statements. We further observe that we were not in receipt of regular payment to cover even the minimum amount due since October 2013. Owing to the same, the card account was invalidated from further usage on 25.03.2014
We take this opportunity to inform you that in the event of non receipt of payment, delayed payment or payment less than the minimum amount due, applicable late payment charges / finance charges would be levied to the card account. As you are aware that payment for the minimum amount due should reach the bank by the payment due date to avoid levy of late payment charges and to keep the card account in regular status. Further, payment in full, reaches the bank by the payment due date to preclude levy of associated finance charges.
We note that you wish to have the bank charges levied on your card account. basis your request and as a service gesture the bank shall offer the reversal of bank charges amounting to Rs.2000.00 on your card account up on your acceptance to pay the remaining balance. Accordingly, we request you to provide your consent vide return email to enable us to do the needful.
We wish to reaffirm that your card account is invalidated for further usage and there is an outstanding of Rs.11029.55 as on date.

MY ACTUAL USAGE WAS OF AROUND RS 1800 BUT THEY STILL ARE ABLE TO MENTION THE OUTSTANDING AMOUNT OF RS 11000(APPROX.) WHICH EXPLAINES WHAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY DOING AND HOW THEY ARE EXPLOITING THERE CUSTOMERS.
And THIS IS MY FEEDBACK as this bank only are rip off your money. I just want to save people who might get trapped or already going through hdfc credit card torture. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ANY PRODUCT OF THIS BANK. NOT ONLY CREDIT CARD, THIS BANK CHEATED MY DEBIT ACCOUNT AS WELL.

I would like to inform this to the admin of this website that HDFC have still not resolved the issue and is least bothered about this concerned and keeps on repeating the same thing again and again by telling the total outstanding amount.

I failed to make my Credit card payment for some personal reason, resulting my account was on hold. But now i have paid all the hold amount. I have been trying to contact the collections department at[protected]/[protected] so that i can get the NOC letter but no body answered my call. Today, i have sent an email on "[protected]@hdfcbank.com" but i am expecting i'll not get any solution because of worthless service of HDFC.
