HDFC Bank — Credit Card Outstanding not converted into EMI even after requesting for it
The total outstanding on my HDFC CC card was Rs 209079 for Aug. I would have paid this bill in full however, i received a message from HDFC that i have an option to convert my credit card outstanding into an EMI for 24 months, (Please see the screen shot of the message received) HDFC Banking was not available because of Covid so i applied for this EMI conversion via message. (Please see the message sent from for SmartEMI conversion sent by me) Even after me applying for EMI conversion, it was not processed which resulted in late fee as well as interest charged on credit card outstanding. HDC bank saying there was no EMI option available on my card. If there was no EMI option available on my card then why was this message sent me. Even after me sending a messaging to opt for EMI, my credit card outstanding was not converted into in EMI and which resulted into a late fee plus interest on the last month outstanding. They have charged additional late fee on card as well as interest amount upto 10 k. Please help me get this reverted because of the failed response from the bank Was this information helpful?
