[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — credit card renewal fee wrongly charged

Hi
I have visted secunderabad branch for cancellation of my existing credit card but hdfc exective suggested me that upgradation of credit card with life time free. But till date no info about credit card and as well exiting credit card renewal has been charged. I want to reverse that and cancel the card, with immediate effect with out effecting my cibil

Dear Customer,

We would like to inform that the Times Titanium credit card will attract a nominal renewal fee, considering the features and benefits available with the card. However, the renewal fee will be auto reversed when your card usage spends during the previous 12 months period exceeds Rs. 1, 50, 000.00. We observe that you have not met the said spend criteria. Hence, the membership fee as applicable was levied to your card account. We request you to use your credit card for the aforesaid spend limit to get the renewal fee waiver on future renewals. On receipt of your post, we have reviewed our records and wish to share the following clarification with you. We wish to inform that request for an upgrade will be reviewed periodically based on the usage and payment pattern on the card account. We regret to inform that we are currently unable to review the card upgrade request at this point of time as which is due to subject to various internal parameters and guidelines. We request you to continue using on your credit card for all your shopping and entertainment needs and provide us with more opportunities to serve you.
