[Resolved] HDFC Bank — credit card renewal membership fees

Hi team,

Have been using credit card since september-2015.
I was lured to take credit card by offering me lifetime free membership card. I asked them thoroughly whether there are any hidden terms and conditions as per which i may be charged year after year. They categorically denied that i will never be charged for my membership. This month i saw in my credit card statement a charge towards renewal membership fee of 500 inr + 90 inr igst (For membership renewal fees).

Please correct this per the offer they gave me. I request bank to not charge me anything towards membership renewal fee.
Kindly look into it and resolve the issue.
