Hello sir, I would like to bring this to your notice that from past 1 year, i have been going through lot Of problems because of hdfc bank credit card. I am carrying one the gold credit card of hdfc bank and the card number is 4346 xxxx xxxx 2933 Regarding which i would like to provide some more information. In the month of july i made some transaction on this card worth 10, 725 and in that month Statement i was charged around rs 900 extra. But in that month, before the generation of The statement i called the customer care of hdfc and informed them that i would be paying The minimum balance for that month so please do not apply the late fee charges in that Month, but when i received the bank statement, i realised that the late fee of rs 500 was Charged so i again called the customer care and asked for the waiver because i already Informed that the reason so for this next month statement i paid rs 9900 through phone Banking. From that day there way no one from the hdfc department who took the stand And waived off the late fee which was charged for no reason because of which i kept on Calling hdfc customer care and asked about the waiver after which i informed the hdfc Customer care that i will no longer make a payment for the dues if that late fee will not Be waived off. The actual purchase made by me was of only rs 4062 afterwards till now on this credit card. The reason why i could not clear off the complete amount for the month of june - - because I was job less. After this case, my account details was passed on to the collections department. One of The collection guy came to my house and asked me to clear off the amount so i paid around Rs 1500 (Approx.) in case to him and i got the receipt as well and he said that i would again be Able to call the customer card and get the issue of this late fee matter sorted out. But when i called the credit card customer care, they said that they don't have my card details with them because its still with the collections department as they haven't processed the account from their end because after that only hdfc credit card customer care can do something in that matter. After that i again paid rs 470 on 24 june 2014. Hdfc cc payment 470. Png I have almost cleared all the amount but still in the current statement the total it says Is rs 10, 080 which includes the late fees all together. I have tried to call the collections department customer care but all those number Mentioned to reach to the customer care of the collections department just give a busy Tone or a dialer tone and no body picks up the call ever. Its a mental torture and i was Mentally harassed by the hdfc credit card department till now because there was no one To contact, when i called the credit card customer care, they asked me to call collections Department, when i tried calling the collections department, no body picks up the call. I tried Sending the email to grievance department and other departments and now to consumer Court and still there is no solution to my problem. https://www.consumercomplaints.in/hdfc-bank-credit-card-charges-levied-without-r...⇄ I received one call from hdfc on 20 october from a lady (Nazia khan) who talked to me regarding my hdfc pending payment and when i asked her about from where she is calling, she said that she is calling from hdfc and said that i just need to pay 1000 against my hdfc credit card and then all the late fees and finance charges which are applied will be waived off so i paid rs 1000 more towards my card and as soon as i have made the payment, she stopped picking up my call and after that there was no further communication from hdfc department. If this issue will not be resolved now then i will be contacting news agencies to report this exploitation which a customer is going through Now my actual amount left with hdfc is only around rs 1000 (Approx.) but still hdfc is asking me for rs 11000 which was not my fault. I am job less and i can't afford to pay this much amount. I also enquired about settlement but still hdfc is asking me to pay rs 9000 (Approx) . I can not understand what kind of settlement is this. I also have received calls from hdfc who are abusing on calls which i will never tolerate. I am attaching all the proofs of payment and voice recording of the conversation which i had with nazia khan.
