Hi received a call where the person said that i have around 10200 expired reward points on my credit card. Today is the last day to redeem it and said that i'll get rs 9800 when i convert it to cash in my account. He asked me for another bank account card that i use frequently and said it can be transferred to this account. He started asking my card details such as card number, cvv, otp. I shared these details and even received a system generated sms from another bank. Later when i confirmed from phone banking, they said that it could be a fraud call. The name of the person was roushan sharma and he said he was from the payback department. He said these transactions only happen through phone call. We observe that as on date there is no transactions billed in your card on January 18, 2018. I am having account in HDFC and did a transaction for 6k and got a 2k torn note today ( Jan 11th 2018 ) in Hyderabad in Cybergateway campus.
