I had made the hdfc credit card payment of 3, 631.00 via visa money transfer (Via hdfc bank) on sunday, 3rd december 2017 (Minimum amount against the due date of 10th december2017). The amount of 3, 631.00 was debited from my account but was not credited to my hdfc credit card *1789. I waited till 5th december 2017 to see if the payment amount of 3631 is updated/credit to my hdfc credit card but it did not happen.
I have contacted the hdfc customer services number of times to let them know my concern but they have been giving me the lame/standard script - raise complaint-will investigate-send email with bank statement!! And i have done all that as i was asked, unfortunately neither did i receive response or phone calls regularly with the progress.
I called hdfc custmer service on 5th december and explained the issue however i was told to wait till end of the day or until next day morning. As the payment did not get updated, i called customer services again on 6th december explaining the scenario all over again. I was told to send an email to the credit card team which i did but did not get the response (Unlike the automated response which says hdfc will get back to me within 48 hours),
The phone banker wasn't helping either in terms of my payment which was not updated instead asking for the payment against my outstanding bill! I told the lady on the phone that i know that i am being charged-interest for my outstanding however the point of the call was for the payment made on 3rd december which needs to be taken care of, then i was asked to go the home branch in-order to get amw (Something like that)... And i traveled from delhi to gurgaon, leaving my office work behind (Financial penalty) reached home branch bank around 3.35pm at qutub enclave - shopping mall and the guard said the bank closes at 3.30pm and refuse me to get in!
Calling customer service is one of the task - hold for a half an hour and the customer service representative has not been kind enough to help me.
I sent another email asking about the progress on 7th december for which i did not get, i sent few emails asking about the status on 11th december 2017 and finally i received the email response on12th december from senior management - priorityredressal. [protected]@hdfcbank.com asking about the challenges and i explained all over it again.
On 21st i received a confirmation email to which the payment of 3631 was being credited and it was my other credit card (Sbi and i don’t want this amount to be debited from my sbi credit card), hdfc bank did waived off the late payment charge of 750.00 which is no-where near to the pain that i have gone through.
Email received (Not responded to my entire query listed below -7 points)

I would like hdfc to:

Compensate 3, 631.00 + service/gst amount for extremely poor service/response and the amount of 3631.00 to be credited towards my credit card (Red) - 1st point of escalation was on 5th december 2017
Interest/finance charges (On full amount) between 21st dec ‘17 until the existence of this complaint to be waived off (Red)
Fixing c-bill: cause of the time it has taken to rectify - will impact my c-bill history, where my point of contact was to avoid the missing payment before 10th december 2017 (Red)
Waive off the late payment charges: 750.00 (Which has been done, confirmed from an email from hdfc)
Escalation of branch issues to the branch manager or higher directors (Sheetal srivastava did not give me an explanation as to why the bank was closed before stipulated time, due to which i had to pay the price, left office - has penalty, time & travel expenses, physically stressed)
Strict feedback/actions to be given/taken against the executives who could have dealt my case better (Per the hdfc company's policy) (Red)
The time it has taken to identify the root cause – else i would have sorted issue.
"re: my outstanding balance should be paid in full (Possibly) in some weeks time and i understand the possible regressive interest charges that hdfc levies. However once i have the terms agreed (As points listed above), i can then think about when, how-much and how to pay-off the maximum/full amount."

Hi,

I am not even used in HDFC credit cards and return back to courier itself . Without my advice they activated one assit plan .I dnt want that plan .Bcoz of that reason cancel the credit cards Kindly cancel the plan .My hdfc customer id 60858310 and contact no: [protected] and [protected] for futher details .

    Consumercomplaints.in › hdfc bank › hdfc bank — i'm complain about adhoc stmt charges.
    Ad hoc statement charge ₹118 have been deducted on 16/01/18 from my hdfc account without any information.

    But i haven't asked for any such statements from bank either by visiting branch or through net banking.

    When i reach branch regarding the same issue, they cant provide proper solution as well as customer care told same answer.

    So i need clarification from bank or reverse my ₹118 to my account.

    My SBI account number is [protected] and account holder name is SUSHMITHA D SHETTY .On 10/01/2018 at 5:54 PM I went to HDFC ATM in Belthur kadugodi and has done a transaction. The transition was not successful but money was deducted. There was no written slip also. The amount is 6000 RS. Kindly respond to my complaint.

      I'm staying abroad and don't check the account transactions for acc# [protected], regularly. However, when i checked today, i observer rs. 708 got deducted every month starting jun2 2017, every month.
      I didn't receive any prior notification for this. I have no idea about this charge. Please let me know, what is this charge and why it is getting deducted every month?...

      I work in an MNC and i got a call from my relationship manager. He called me to intimate me that there is a pre-approved personal loan and told me that there are no fore-closure charges. Because I was a preferred customer of the bank and was maintaining this relationship from years, I trusted the bank. The relationship manager misguided me for gaining commission on personal loan.
      He told me that there are no foreclosure charges after 1 year and made me fill a form online by making me enter his code(to gain commission).
      He made me pay 7000 Rs by showing some charges which in market the charges are as low as 1100 (citi bank for same loan amount) and 2500 in case of icici bank. I strongly recommend everyone not to take any loan from this bank. I will lodge a case with banking ombudsman shortly and make them realize them their own mistake.

      When I called the RM he told me - did you not read the T&C ?
      I never told you like that there are no foreclosure charges etc. and so on.
      I only told them that the you will not understand my language, you will understand in the language which you deserve, when ombudsman finds your cheating.

        We have checked our records and confirm that the charge of Rs. 117 levied to your account on January 16, 2018, pertains to third-party cash transaction done on January 06, 2018 for Rs. 11, 100.00 at Kanchipuram branch. HDFC Bank offers the customer, convenience of anywhere banking in any of our branches along with the extensive ATM network.However to deter indiscriminate deposits and to offer the service in a controlled manner, third-party cash transactions are permitted at a nominal charge. Levy of this service charge, as with all other service charges levied by the Bank, is at the sole discretion of the Bank. Third Party cash transactions (deposits and withdrawals), at any branch through teller counters, would be accepted in Savings accounts up-to a limit of Rs. 25, 000 per transaction per day. This service would be offered at a nominal charge of Rs.150 per transaction, plus applicable taxes irrespective of the amount deposited/withdrawn.

        When i deposited this amount in bank, i was told by the teller that there wont be any charges will be deducted for cash deposited up to 25000 per day? isn't that true?

        This is really ridiculous to deduct charges for depositing amount to my own account. :(

          I’m a loyal customer of hdfc bank credit card and owing the card from past 10 yrs and also maintained a good record of on time payment but i’m very disappointed by the service provider as the executives has forbaded twice the request to convert my transactions into emi although i have got a call from hdfc to convert my transactions into emi as soon as i swept my card but at that time i told her to call me later but when i called they refused to do so. I strongly recommend hdfc credit card department to not loose the loyal customers like us n value us otherwise we have no options to use services of other banks which are offering more consumers friendly schemes. This is second time i’m writing here for conversion of transactions into emi because i have still not got any reply from service provider. Moreover i have also requested to increase the limit of my card for which also i haven’t got any answers and the executives are also mishandled the customers and unable to satisfy the customer

Kuala matankar told me bank have no cash come after 3 pm. But sue to my duty time i am going today in bank. But today bank provide me cash in 100 rs note. I request cashier to pay me big note of 500 because i have to send it out of village. Again he told me he has no big cash and cancel my withdrawl. I also call to relationship manager but there is no use also in branch branch manager is not available to sort issue. So i want to ask u that what kind of action u take on such layer cashier.               I invest in mutual funds from my salary account in hdfc bank but in this month i closed all of sip for future planning but my money deducted as debit return charges. The money i lost was shown in my account statement as 885, 885, and 413. When i called into bank, then they didn't provide full information and just told me that talk to your mutual funds. I don't know what to do, please help me. Atleast provide me information of that mutual fund who deduct my money as i invested in multiple mutual funds. Thank you

                Who called us for credit card and we never gone to hdfc for the same. Executive called and we given all papers and verification also done positively. I called customer care and they are not giving any reason for rejection. As per rbi guideline circular no - rbi/[protected]/100 bod. Fsd. Bc.23/24.01.011/2008-09 dated[protected]. Hdfc bank should give us reason or else we also file complaint in rbi and bank ombudsman. We want reason for rejection as it will hit my cibil. My cibil was all clear and i got home loan too on same address. If we will not find reason for rejection, we will file case in consumer court. It is my dignity which got effected and i am fully made up my mind for filing legal case against hdfc. I never had any credit card or liabilities from any bank in the past. Please provide reason or else i will file case in consumer court. Regards rajender [protected] & [protected] please suggest me what is next process. And where exactly my application got disapproved.                     I was adding rs 5000 from my sbi card to payzapp balance and i got a msg that transaction is successful but i never received the balance in my payzap account.

                    Informed to customer service they are telling now 5 working days.in great urgency i have opted for this but now don't know what to do. Really so so depressed now. Im literally crying, its such a emergency situation kindly clear that.

                      Hi,
                      My mother has a saving account in HDFC.
                      Since October, we have got two fraud transactions on her account for the sum of 12500 and 7860 respectively. Both the transaction are looking as directed to WWW PAYTM COM POS DEBIT in passbook.
                      For the first Transaction she might have overlooked the message but today, again we had deduction of 7860 and she noticed it.

                      Message we received is as follows:
                      Thank you for using debit card ending XXXX for rs.7860.00 in noida at paytm1293914 on[protected]:14:59:47 avl bal: rs.XXXXX.XX

                      This is turning out to be a big fraud and many users from HDFC are affected by it as you can see many such complains here.
                      Please take necessary steps to get us out money back from frauds.

                        Hi my name is prateek godha, i am using hdfc credit card from last 2 years and making payments on time, from last 6 months i am paying minimum amount to bank but my amount is not getting deducted which i am paying every month, as they are adding finance charges, over limit fee and taxes, so whatever amount i am paying to bank is of no use it is just like i am paying interest, hdfc recovery people they keep on calling me and harres me to pay the minimum amount of 2900, as i asked them for settlement, they said that first pay the 2900 then they will do the settlement.

                        I am fed up now as they keep on calling me to pay the minimum amount. I don't know what to do now, they are not listening me at all ad keep on harresing me.

                          I had purchased a forex card from hdfc and some unknown transactions have occurred before even i has swiped the card anywhere for the first time and i have lost about 340$ (Roughly more then 18500rs) i have been trying to dispute this change with hdfc customer support and has been receiving the worst customer care i have ever seen! Ref no. Hbl=[protected]. After days of waiting the latest email i received was from arun kumar who dosen't even know the complaint properly and says i should be contacting the merchant directly. This is a theft by hacking or some sort due to hdfc's poor firewall systems. How should i be able to reach the merchant?

                            There is no way to speak to a representative just automated barrier which keeps making you go around in circles..Wasting time..Money..Energy...And made to feel uncared for ..Or not important and worse of all helpless.
                            Each time i miss tatkal booking because of this ****ingOTP. ireceive the OTP on time but when i enter it, it says enter the stupid OTP.

I have paid my credit card amount on time to time but the bank is continuously charging unnecessary finance charges 122.48 rupees in january month statement and 118.18 in december month statement.                               Rs. 6700.00 has been debited towards transaction with google*tunein to my account no [protected]. For which neither i received any otp nor i made any transaction with this merchant. I tried many times to customer care but the call is getting terminated half-way through. I really wonder how come they debit without taking any authorization from me. Also i do not understand why they terminate the call to the customer service center in the middle of a conversation

                              I've my account in HDFC 🏦. Recently I had deposited 500 rupees but after 1day they deducted my whole balance approx. rupees 521 and now current balance is in negative -186 rupees. It means they had deducted arround 700 rupees. This is very disgusting. Please do something for this.

                                  It has been too much to raise regarding my one of transaction that has not been credited into canra bank account from hdfc, since last two months i have been trying at branch and to the phone banker and also sent mails but hdfc has failed to track my transaction if has not been credited into beneficiary account then where it went?
