[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Fraud call regarding Insurance plan

Hello sir,

I received call from 'hdfc life - policy termination department'. They told, that "i purchased a policy of yearly 50000/- in 2012 and since i haven't paid anything afterwards, it is going to terminate". Suddenly i got alerted its a fraud call because i never had any policy till date. Also i demanded more details but they could not give me, so that i should get confirm. The conversation continued to different 4-5 people and now they are sending a 'representative' to collect cheque and documents from me. I continued the conversation so that i could reach to the stage where i can get any account number if they tell me to transfer money, so that i could inform that account number to 'hdfc life' immediately and they could track these people. But instead of that, they told me that they are sending a 'representative' to my house to collect the cheque and documents. So here i am, waiting for that person to come at tomorrow. If you 'hdfc life' people are reading this message and interested in catching those fraudsters, get in touch with me. My mail id is [protected]@gmail.com. I can volunteer to help with that.

Disclaimer : last two calls was from mumbai and previous calls seem to be from delhi. These mumbai people might be any third party people who might not know about this fraud. Or they might be involved in this fraud, so i don't know. I have photo of prince kumar from truecaller, but since anyone is not sure if he is involved in this fraud directly or not, i won't upload his photo here so his identity won't be revealed if he is innocent and trapped with these people.

Person coming to collect the cheque : 11 july 2017 at 12:30pm
Location : akurdi station, pune - maharashtra. (Coming from mumbai)

These are the numbers from where i received calls.

Priya aggarwal : [protected] (First call - hindi)
Megha sharma : [protected] (Relationship manager - hindi)
Seema destimoney : [protected] (Their senior person - hindi)
Plvc destimoney :[protected]Local branch - as per they told me - marathi)
Prince kumar : 9*5 (Person coming to collect cheque - hindi)

Important : i do have all conversations recorded in my phone (Except one when i switched my sim because my phone battery was low). I have installed call recorder and truecaller, and there is photo of prince kumar on truecaller if that is helpful for you guys.

Hope gullible people will get alerted and won't trap in these fraudsters trap.

HDFC Life Customer Care. Why the hell anybody sell your plan if they are not profiting from it? It seems this is all your Strategy to get customers by fooling and trapping them. You have done this cleverly and thought people are dumb who won't be able to connect these dots. It seems you have appointed them to trap people and you pay them commission behind every policy. There are many similar complaints that you haven't solved till date where people have trapped in this, solve them first IF YOU HAVE GENUINE CONCERN. And you know, that if people will go to consumer forum, they will ask "Why you were dishonest at first?" And you are asking shamelessly again to purchase the policy. Seriously? I have mentioned all the numbers in above complaint. Go call yourself to make sure if you are genuine and don't have any idea regarding such calls. May be consumer forum and social media will come to know about this soon. I also sent One mail to your CEO, but didn't get any reply (Why would he? If this is company's policy to get customers). And what is the guarantee you will expose and punish the callers as far as you are getting customers from them and they are befitting you? I want solid EVIDENCE that you are not involved in this unscrupulous sales, but it seems THIS IS ALL YOU.
