I would like to address the issue mentioned in my earlier email regarding the fraudulent transaction on my HDFC credit card dated 13 August 2025.
Within 24 hours of the incident, I completed all necessary actions as per the standard process. I would like to highlight the following points for your immediate attention:
I have never shared any OTP or confidential information with anyone.
I only received a WhatsApp message showing “payment declined” — I never received any confirmation SMS for a successful transaction.
Within 40–50 minutes, I immediately contacted the HDFC toll-free number, reported the transaction, and requested reversal. However, no corrective action was taken at that time.
Flipkart has confirmed that the mentioned transaction was cancelled from their end.
On the next day, I personally visited the branch, informed the concerned officer, and submitted a dispute form regarding the same.
