HDFC Bank — Fuel Surcharge on my account | |||||
Hi, Without my authorization, HDFC Bank has deducted a Fuel Surcharge from my account. I filled in Petrol from HP Petrol Pump, Bavdhan, Pune, on April 28th 2016, amounting to INR 1850/- however, my account has shown an illegal transaction of additional Fuel Surcharge, which I have not authorized for, amounting to INR 52.96/-. I am Sunil Mani, an account holder with Saving Bank account no. [protected].
It is to inform you that I have been observing in my bank statement that whenever I get my card swiped in Petrol Pumps, a fuel surcharge gets deducted from my account.
Last time it was on 22nd May, 2016 when I used my card to make a payment of Rs. 100, a fuel surcharge of Rs. 11.45 got deducted from my account on 24th May, 2016.
Once again I used my card to make a payment of Rs. 100 at Bharat Petroleum on 8th June, 2016 and a fuel surcharge of Rs. 11.50 got deducted from account on 9th June, 2016.
This is totally unacceptable. How can you deduct money from my account without my permission. I want an early resolution to this problem, or else I'll have to take a strict action against your bank.
I am also attaching the images as a proof of those illegal deductions.
I hope you refund back my money on time.

I am Girish from Bangalore having SB account [protected] with HDFC of HSR lay out branch. It is to inform you that a surcharge of Rs 29 was deducted from SB account for fuel.
This is totally unacceptable. How can you deduct money from my account without my permission?!
