I got my address updated in my HDFC account. The address for successfully a updated and I received the confirmation mail and message on my registered number.
Post few days, I received a mail from
[protected]@hdfcbank.net on 19th May, 2022 stating that the ‘ Address change Initimation Letter has been undelivered and for security reasons UPI, Nebanking and Cards have been temporarily disabled .’
Post this on 21st May I received HDFC credit card on this new address .
I thought there must be some glitch with HDFC and hence i must have received the blocking mail. I called my RM and she also confirmed that there is no issue and I can ignore the mail.
On 22nd May, I was unable to do any payments or receive payments on my HDFC account .
I visited the nearby branch and inquired. They were clueless . After waiting for the manager i was told that there is some memo set on my account and it will be resolved by evening.
It is 27th May 2022 and my issue has still not been resolved .
Funny part is the HDFC branch and customer service folks are unaware of their own system .
I have been on calls and mails with my RM and have been told that backend/central team is processing the request .
It is a salary account and I am worried that my May month salary won’t get credited as no payments are being accepted .
I feel so helpless being locked out of my own account .
I have tried calling and visiting branch but no help!
Please resolve my issue ! This is a total harassment of the customer !
