I just opened the new account in HDFC,
through Video KYC because I believed that they are professional and reliable and they shattered my wrong assumptions by greeting me with the debit card issuance charges, that too 590 rs.
To amount was deducted today i.e 8th February and I did not even receive a text message regarding that, I had to figure it out myself.
I have/had accounts in 6 other banks and none of them charged any fee, that too for ZERO balance account but here they charged me.
It's very disappointing and was not expected from the HDFC bank.
I expect the refund of the amount as it is not logical and these kinds for charges makes me reluctant towards trusting the bank.
