[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — hdfc life classicassure plus - fake promises

I received a phone call from a person in Chennai. He introduced himself as V.Karthik Chennai Mylapore HDFC branch manager. He told me about HDFC Life Classicassure Plus give me good returns that, If I pay Rs.40, 000/- annually for 7 years, I will get around Rs.6, 29, 500/- + Rs.1, 17000 as bonus at the end of 10 years. He also told I can pay through emi by my credit card and I will get a gift like gold coin. He convinced me by buttering me nicely. I finally agreed to go for it.
Later I got a call from a 3rd party confirmation department. This guy Karthik told me to say "YES" for whatever they ask. In that confirmation call, they said I will get a payment link where I can pay online. By hearing this I was shocked and inquired HDFC life directly. They said that I will get 8% return and 3% bonus which is around 3lacks for investing 40k/year for 7years.

People be careful!!

I was shocked to see such scam.
