I Pramod had a similiar issue. I have paid around 4 premium of 50k and when I want to surrender, customer care mentioned that you will get 75 k only.
The agent who has sell me this policy, he showed me great benefits etc and mentioned it is 10 years term and not 12 years. Also during the verification call, I was mentioned as 10 year term and not 12 years.
I know, I am very lately looking at my investment but would say HDFC Life agents are fooling the customer and making money.
Today when I called up agent that, the policy term you mentioned is 10 years, how come it is changed to 12 yrs. he mentioned that it should not be. Will revert you back.

Why you guys are sharing wrong information to sell your policy ?
Your People even instruct us to say 'YES' in case of tele-verification in the beginning of the policy and when i ask them 'WHY' the used to say that the tele-verification guys do not have all the information about the policy and they only ask a set of questions only.
Please believe me I am not lying here for few thousand of rupees this is actually happening, if you unaware about that fact then this is very dangerous thing and you should start work to rectify this.
It is very unfortunate for me that i have believed in your presentation. and please understand this will surely not help you grow in future .
Could you please share the payout breakup details against my policy .

the main problem is agents are not clearly telling and I got a policy document very late and I had to leave to a different place so there is no chance I could read the policy document
Also would like to know the difference between SSV and GSV

Hi I took this policy in July 2012 for 5 year with 50k per year.I paid around 258000 including tax.When the time of payout I got 261819 as the final payment which is 3 thousand more than the amount which I invested.
while taking the policy agent showed the graph and he told that I will get min of 464000 which is no ware near the actual one.I sent couple of mails and but I didn't receive any proper answer.Also the person who gave me this policy is left the job.

Hi. I have taken same policy in 2013 and have been paying 1 Lac per year, means till Nov 2017 I have paid 5 Lacs rupee. policy premium term is 5 years till Nov 2018. when i called HDFC helpline and asked about what amount i would get against 6 lac premium until Nov 2018. i was told 4.17 lacs at 6% per annum growth. Are HDFC guys lost mind. after paying 6 lacs and taking 4.17 lacs is 6% per annum growth or loss of few more %age per year . Sent email to [protected]@hdfclife.com on same issue and its strange that they replied that they can not share the information and i have to send email from my registered email ID. I did send it from my regostred email ID only and still this response. Them I opened online HDFClife.com and clicked screen shot of my profile clearly showing my email ID as one I had sent mail from and sent them screen shots also. Now there is complete silent and no response. They are not even telling if I surrender now and do not pay for Nov 2018 premium of 1 lac, whats the surrender procedure and value I get. This is a complete fraud policy to cheat customers and we should file a case in National Consumer Forum court for deficiency in services, inefficiencies and cheating and fraud against HDFC Life for this plan. our money is hard earned. Yes..I too agree and HDFC life should not sell this policy as "Sampoorn Samridhi" because there is not even 1 repee vridhi from this policy.While taking the policy they are showing wrong predictions and when it comes to actual we are not getting anything out of this policy.Instead taking this policy and if you leave the amount in bank it will yield more returns than this.
When I contacted them, now they are saying it's my fault to take this policy(they asked me to refer the documents).But in lookup period also I asked agent who insisted me to take this policy and they guaranteed that I will get more than what they showed in the proposal paper.

My case is more pathetic. I also joined this scheme after an agent wrongly convinced me about the attractive return after 5 or 7 years. I Joined in this HDFC Sampoorna Smrudhi Scheme in November 2011 and going to complete 7 years in November 2018. My premium was 50, 000/- annual. I paid 3.5 lakh as premium so far. After receiving message from HDFC life for maturity claim I visited HDFC branch with all documents. After completing all formalities I asked them how much I will get at the time maturity? HDFC executive answered that 3, 35372/- will get at the time of maturity i.e. November 2018. That mean I lost 14, 628/- from principle and no interest. HDFC did a day light robbery with me rather all those who joined with this scheme. I am going to raise the issue with Life insurance ombudsman as well as IRDI. If did not get proper return on my investment I plan to approach consumer forum.

Now when i saw the complaint to all you guys, i am thinking of pursuing this matter legally and jointly. If you too are up for it please contact me on [protected]@gamil.com

I rather none of this policy holders purchase any products of HDFC. It was a bitter experience from HDFC. I never recommend HDFC products to anybody. I have posted my bitter experience in whatsApp groups.
Almost all agents were given similar information to customers means the source of conspiracy was from HDFC only. It was a planned looting by HDFC. I am surprising that any bank will introduce negative return scheme other than HDFC.
Their customer service is hopeless. Never give replay to any of our queries.
