HDFC Bank — Home topup loan cancelled and not refunding the processing and reimbursement charges paid by me

Hi Sir,

I have a Home loan in HDFC and asked the same executive to provide a top-up, and without knowing me, he applied for an Improvement Loan.

And that loan he registered in the Mysore Branch, which is also not known until I raised a query with customer care over email.

He asked for the queries raised and helped me to provide the necessary documents, which I shared with that person. This all happened after the loan application was successful, and I also got the email for reimbursement.

Now he asked for the reimbursement amount to be paid(an official email was sent, and through the link in it, I paid and planned a date to visit the bank).

Later, my application was assigned to Hemanth(senior person), and whenever I called, he said it would be processed today EOD or in an hour and would call once processed, but I never got the call back.

Suddenly, one day, my application was not there in the portal, and I tried calling the executive person, Pavan Kumar, and Hemanth, but no one responded.

Post that, I raised a request to customer support through email, and they added Hemanth and his Manager, Eregowda. However, still no update from them.

Hemath called once and said the Refund can be done, and will check with my manager and update in an hour. The same thing happened, and nothing got updated from him later.

Again, I replied in the same mail asking for the update, this time I got a shocking, unexpected reply from the bank saying that I will not get any Refund as it is a non-refundable amount.

Again, I replied, asked why this was not updated in the very first mail, and also added that if the processing fee is a non-refundable amount, then I can get the reimbursement charges right.

For that, they now said yes, you will get a Refund of 500, and other charges paid are nonrefundable.

By seeing all this junk, it is clear that they are making me a fool, and I really got frustrated.

So please help me on this and get my Refund amount.
