I had done the IMPS transaction of amount RS.2, 00, 000 from my HDFC current account to other bank account via netbanking.
I received transaction timed-out message on my register mobile, however the amount was deducted from my account and was not delivered to other end even after a working day despite frantic calls to the Branch Manager.
While the same transaction was done from ICICI which also failed but credited back to my account the same minute.
Not help received while it was an urgent situation.
As per the HDFC Manager, it seems there was an issue with beneficiary bank systems and he asked us to go and check with beneficiary bank by ourselves.
Seriously, being so called IMPERIA customers, this is the treatment I am getting, wondering what the other customers are facing.
I mean, Can the bank not see whether the transaction is successful or not when it was timed out? Even after giving the Transaction ID, we were not helped in any way Was this information helpful? |
