Dear Customer,
To change your mobile number on our records for your Savings Account, please refer to the procedure given below:


A] Updation in your Contact Details / InstaAlerts / Secure Access facility:


To change your mobile number on our records through branch, please refer to the procedure given below:


We regret our inability to change your mobile number on our records through Netbanking, Phonebanking, faxed or e-mailed instructions, for security and authentication purposes.


Please submit your requirement at the nearest branch, through a written letter, duly signed by all account holders. In case you are unable to visit the branch, you can send the same by postal service or courier.

B] Updation for the SMSBanking facility:


Please cancel SMSBanking on the old number and then re-register for SMSBanking on the new number by the below process:

Log in to NetBanking with your Customer Identification Number and NetBanking Password (IPIN).

Click on SMSBanking Registration on the top right hand corner

Select De-register for SMSBanking from the left hand side menu

From the list shown, select the mobile number that needs to be de-registered

Click on Continue

Select Confirm

Your SMSBanking de-registration request will be processed online


Subsequently, you need to re-register for SMSBanking on the new number as below:

Log in to NetBanking with your Customer Identification Number and NetBanking Password (IPIN)

Click on SMSBanking Registration on the top right hand corner

Select Subscribe for InstaQuery from the left hand side menu

Choose your Account Number from the list of all accounts linked to your Customer Identification number and shown to you .

Provide your 10 digit Mobile Number along with the country code. Note that all Reliance CDMA customers need to provide 10 digit mobile number only without country code

Click on the Check box which states "I accept Terms and Conditions"

Click on Confirm. Your request will be processed online

Alternately please submit duly filled in e-age banking form at any of HDFC Bank branch to register for the SMS Banking facility. (The form is available on www.hdfcbank.com)
