[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — my travellers cheque for usd 100 lost by hdfc bank kalka ji branch

I had deposited a Traveller's cheque for USD 100 in my savings bank account (No. [protected]) on 17.10.2017 with HDFC bank, at their branch in B-52, Ground Floor, Kalka ji, New Delhi -110019. I have attached the photocopies of my cheque and the deposit slip.
I was told that the cheque will be routed thru Mumbai HQ for clearing. Later I found that the above mentioned cheque has not been credited to my account even after 6 months. Contacted the bank and met the Branch manager for proper follow up and ensure the money to be credited into my account. Have been chasing the bank for the last 3 months but of no result so far.
The Bank branch in Kalka Ji claims that they have searched their own premises and have checked with their HO in Mumbai, but could not trace the TC. Now the Bank has thrown up their hands and are unable to do anything further.

I would request the Authorities to look into the matter and ensure due amount to be credited to my account.
