Bought this policy in 2008 at annual premium of rs 1 lakh plus applicable service tax. For 10 years this policy neither give any financial returns nor any service from hdfc life. The plan was sold as savings/investment plan inside the hdfcbank branch of hdfc bank and not hdfc life showing unethical misselling which did not give even simple fixed deposit returns. Many people lost money and the losses destroyed their lives. After completion of term of 10 years, hdfclife does not give details of maturity claim. All efforts through phone calls, emails, online logging into my account, elle facility created by hdfclife have failed. Ordinary poor citizens need to be cautioned about hdfclife doing financial frauds on their hard earned savings.
