[Resolved] HDFC Bank — negative balance in hdfc account | |||
From past two months i sent mails like this... I want to close my hdfc account number: [protected] and user id: 57159680 branch: kondapur, my aircel number is not working and this hdfc account is attached to that aircel number. I'm not getting any information about my hdfc account and recently i got married and i quit the job and now i'm leaving in bangalore, so i cant come there to close my hdfc account. So could you please close my account asap because if i'm not maintaining any amount in hdfc account then you people will charge some amount that's why please close my account. I have hdfc credit card so that is enough for me. Could you help me with this issue and asap please close my account. Verified Support Jun 12, 2018 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer, To close your account held with HDFC Bank, please submit the account closure form (available on www.hdfcbank.com> Forms Center> Personal Banking) along-with Extended KYC annexure ( available on www.hdfcbank.com> Forms Center > Personal Banking > Extended KYC Annexure ) at any of our nearest Bank branches. Please visit the following link for address of our branches and ATMs https://www.hdfcbank.com/branch-atm-locator Addressing your concern we wish to clarify that Combined closure form is a common form which is required to fill in by an account holder incase he holds more than a single product with the Bank. By filling this form our customers can close all other accounts/products and delink the same along with Savings account held with the bank. For ex : ISA account/ Depository account / Credit card etc. You will need to tick the relevant boxes mentioned on the form. This application must be signed by all Joint Holders where the account is held jointly in the same order of names as appearing on the account or by sole holder in case of sole ownership account to be closed. We regret that we are unable to process the request for account closure received through PhoneBanking, NetBanking, e-mail, scanned or faxed copy for security and authentication purposes. In case you are unable to visit the branch, you can send the account closure application to the branch by postal service or courier. We also request you to destroy or surrender the cheque book and Debit Card at the time of account closure.
