HDFC Bank — NEW ACCOUNT OPENING - Message is there is low severity memo present on Debit account

Got saving bank account opened in a/c- [protected] .
1. Request for a/c opening given on 22nd July, account opened on 06th Aug, welcome kit delivered on 14th Aug
2. After receiving welcome kit - found tele pin (TIN) as mentioned in welcome letter is not provided
3a. On fund transfer getting message - "Message is there is low severity memo present on Debit account..." and
4. On calling phonebanking, asked them to atleast confirm balance in newly opened account which i gave as cheque at time of submitting account opening request. Their response was freighting that account is temporary in-active or dormant. A new account DORMANT OR INACTIVE and branch can activeate same. Thus phonebanking team cannot check balance. Worst is i was able to tell them that through netbanking i can see amount in newly opened account which i deposited as cheque but on click to view statement, getting message - "Sorry! We have temporarily restricted this transaction. Please note that if you are able to withdraw/add money to your A/c. successfully, then the restriction is on the Beneficiary A/c. to receive money. Else, the restriction is on your A/c., and therefore, kindly contact your nearest branch to regularise your A/c." . CAN SOMEONE IS HDFCBANK TEACH their customer teams what exactly is meant by " regularise your A/C" since no one is able to explain

Life made hell as no one is able to help - branch rep says need to check with backend And phone banking ask to visit branch. Money stuck as not able to pay vendors and service providers. Worst is no one is ready to own acts of branch . overall Pathetic state . No escalation matrix published, Not sure what to do as found respective teams highly disintegrated . Bank reps openly ask to visit branch to get this resolved as I am just available for them .

WHILE i am writing this complaint I still believe HDFC is an esteem entity of out country and hopeful someone from bank will look into my concerns and will be able to resolve asap, Uploading screen shots by removing my name.

I request Branch/ Phonebanking/ Nodal or anyone in HDFC to pls resolve this as now long weekend is also over.

Account has been froezen in that state for more than 3 weeks and no one can figure out why this is the case. I took care of KYC issue and resolved it but still a week after the account is in blocked state and nobody is able to find why so. Very horrible service HDFC. What am I supposed to do now??

My account is blocked and there is no reason that they can cite. Bank itself is clueless

Most idiotic banks in India. Ridiculous. Go learn from foreign countries like USA, Canada, Europe etc. shame on HDFC!!!

I am facing the same issue
I am also facing same issue. Its almost a week, no solution. My UPI payments also not getting credited in bank account. When visit branch, they have only one reply "account chaalu hai". Horrible experience.
