HDFC Bank — New credit card application declined without reason/proper support

Hi Team,
I tried submitting application online to open new CC with HDFC after RBI lifting ban on the bank. Due to the site being unreliable, it took multiple attempts to finally submit one application with all documents uploaded.
However it appears that Bank considered all attempts as separate applications even though none of the previous attempts gave me any reference number.
I tried to reach bank professionals via Twitter/Phone/Mails to only progress my completed application but I didn’t get proper response.
The status for completed application, I see being shown as Declined but I don’t know why. No communication from bank regarding application or my requests to call back to discuss this mess of multiple applications.

Please can you help sort this out.

Standard responses are being provided by HDFC staff, still not able to understand the reason for decline. So effectively issue not resolved.

Additionally the story has now got twist, the application status is shown as in progress but on email team keeps telling me application is declined.

Misleading status messages being given to customer for application.

Hi HDFC Team,

I have got multiple mails from HDFC bank regarding credit card eligibility check and i did the same to check the cards which will be suitable to me.But all the time when I checked the credit card details, it came as a application.Finally I applied for one card and submitted the application.Whenever I tried to check the status, it shows me multiple apllication reference number and in progress, suddenly it shows me card declied and i dont know why.I tried contacting the bank assistance but they declined to speak to me and tell the reason. When I tried applying for the new one after all the issues, it shows, you're already an existing credit card user or you might applied already.I need CC and I need to know the reason and status for the card.
