Dear HDFC Bank,
I have opened a PPF Account online with HDFC in Anna Nagar-I, Chennai, Tamil Nadu branch with Rs. 1000 as initial amount.
Now, I want to transfer some more money to it online, but for that I am not able to add the account as beneficiary.
It is giving error message as "Invalid Account Number".
I am wondering how can It is possible, as the A/c opened online are not valid.
When I called to Customer Care, they said that they can't help on it as it is PPF Account and asked me to visit Home Branch.
Currently, I am staying in New Delhi and it is not possible for me to go Chennai and visit branch just to confirm that my PPF Account is valid or not ?
What Kind of Core Banking System HDFC is following that they can give status on a PPF Account ? Was this information helpful? |
