[Resolved] HDFC Bank — not able to add beneficiary as it doesn't search ifsc code of the benefactor | |||
Hi I did open an account with hdfc bank 3 months ago. Since then i have tried to use netbanking but i am not able to add a beneficiary. When i login and choose adding beneficiary but after entering account number of beneficiary it demands the ifsc code of the same but in the box provided i cannot add the code manually neither it searches on intermet. I have called customer care many times but after receiving the call they abruptly cut the phone. I have no doubt now about the pathetic service of this bank. Was this information helpful? | |||

I have an HDFC account. I am trying to add another HDFC account in my list of beneficiaries for urgent fund transfer however as much as I tried on Chrome as well as Internet Explorer, I am unble to Search IFSC code for being able to add beneficiary account.
I even tried from my personal laptop & also from office laptop but still cannot Search IFSC code.
This is very urgent so please help me.

I am unable to search the IFSC code of Oriental Bank of Commerce when I try to add that in Beneficiary account. Request to sort out the issue.
Hi, I'm having the same problem. When I click to search IFSC code, it's showing no results. I've put in all the details. Time and time again. And it still says 'no records found'. If I was able to type out the code myself, it wouldve been much easier. Please help me out as soon as possible. I'm already late on the payment

Just to mention I have been following the HDFC LTD since 22 APR asking them to let me prepay directly to BANK after so many efforts when they have give me the account details to prepay I cann't add the account which is again so frustrating, Also every day I'm incurring the interest on the amount which I need to pay its very LARG amount, daily I'm getting huge loss. I'm simply fed up with HDFC BANK and HDFC LTD. I need the solution ASAP.
Have the same problem, put in accurate IFSC code (HDFC0000027) but it does not post result so I am stuck!!!
Have the same problem. IFSC code lookup never works on HDFC bank. I regret opening bank account with HDFC. what is the use if we are not able to lookup a simple IFSC code. waste of time banking with hdfc bank.

Same problem. Unable to add a new beneficiary, IFSC code search does not return any results. Moreover I am adding another HDFC bank! No point calling them. Really pathetic service. What are the alternative banks where people have better experience?
What a useless bank after so many complaints they still don't bother to even try to resolve or I think they have the wrong IT guys in place

If you are an HDFC customer trying to add another HDFC account, the fun fact is you don't need IFSC code. - Check the form and select "Transfer within the bank" after clicking Add Beneficiary.

I am having a same problem. It does not search branch through IFSC code. I never expected this from HDFC
I am also facing the same problem, I unable to add an beneficiary due to IFSC search issue, The page does not allow me to type the IFSC code and it does not even search the code by taking all inputs.
HDFC is a reputed bank, how come they allow such things to happen, why the app is not tested thoroughly.
