[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — nri - kyc update issue - account blocked despite many re-kyc attempt

Found this forum and feel to share my experience and issue with kyc update.

I am keep receiving emails from hdfc for kyc update and my a/c debit transaction have been blocked. Funny thing is the email i received from them to update kyc it’s mentioned [protected]@hdfcbank.com and i have tried to send them few times and i received failure bounce back ‘user unknow’- antispam.
However, i have already submitted all my kyc details thru internet banking in past 27/09/2017 at 3:17. I have lodged a complaint to customer care but unfortunately haven’t received any response from them and they blocked my debit transaction.

Received an email from hdfc on 14/11/2017 for kyc update and i have responded them with all details and screenshot together hdfc kyc confirmation screen and also hdfc complaint no.
Then they have responded me back with issue with my kyc form.

However, if hdfc would simply send a notification about rejection to customer instead of keeping with them only i think this situation will not drag to where lot o[censored]nnecessary communication which is not required and will have even less hassle for hdfc staff/support/customer and save both time.

I also feel those fields in kyc are not clear for customer as i was in impression that field need to be updated in case of self-employment.

I have updated kyc form and sent it to
[protected]@hdfcbank.com along with other documents (Address, passport, visa) and though this time it will get updated and if rejected i will receive an email as i have open the case and communicated with someone in hdfc.

There should be some notification for un-successful, if there is no rejection notification to customer that's means i will keep loading kyc forever.

Story doesn’t end here i am still receiving such emails and my account is locked, my second attempt to updated kyc was almost 20 days before. I have send email to same persons and cc to few others who contacted me for kyc earlier but no one responding this time.

This is really a harassment in the name of kyc where hdfc failed to resolve customer issue. Issue seems to be from hdfc not from me.
I have sent email to branch manager, cluster head but no response, however their email says ‘for any other query or assitance related to this issue, you may also please speak to mr. …. On — or email him at …..‘.
I have also sent few email to [protected]@hdfcbank.com.in but no response, however, their online kyc details page says ‘for any queries / clarifications, feel free to write to us on : [protected]@hdfcbank.com’.
I have been using hdfc since a long ago without any hassle but seems this is not the case now. Hdfc also jumped in same queue as others. Its being more than 2 months i have submitted my kyc details thru online (From customer login) and 20 day’s sent to [protected]@hdfcbank.com but still receiving such email from hdfc, this is really a harassment of nre customer. I always use to refer my friends hdfc for but this is not the case now.

Let me know if there is any other way to complain or whom i should raise this concern or this is the time i need to look for other bank services?

I am really become hopeless. May be in private no one cares but hope someone able to help here when issue in public.

My issue has been resolve after many back and fourth emails, finally they got my all docs in one of my previous emails sent to nrirekyc and updated my account.

However, if they would have simply avoided all this if they simply setup a notification for rejected KYC and proper scanning procedure to nrirekyc emails( mine email to nrirekyc was ignored and not attended)
