nri - kyc update issue - account blocked despite many re-kyc attempt

Found this forum and feel to share my experience and issue with kyc update.

I am keep receiving emails from hdfc for kyc update and my a/c debit transaction have been blocked. Funny thing is the email i received from them to update kyc it’s mentioned [protected]@hdfcbank.com and i have tried to send them few times and i received failure bounce back ‘user unknow’- antispam.
However, i have already submitted all my kyc...

I have received verification calls to my office desk, verification got completed successfully also verification done 2 times by physically visit my office place. But, when i checked my status i saw this message online as 'disapproved' application.

What the hell is this? When i never got any letter, how could they say that they sent a letter?

I already wasted 10-12 days on it... Please tell me the exact reason so that i can apply a credit card from some other bank rather than wasting my time with hdfc.

If i am not eligible for credit card on your bank please return my all documents that i had been submitted to your executive.

    Hi, i have debited my hdfc bank debit card of rs 1098 from savings account on 03/12/2017 for membership activation fee.
    Hdfc bank are the one who directed me to one assist but really this company is not taking any request and auto payment mode is activated in my credit card. When i asked for the hdfc bank help they are not responsible.

    I don't need this wallet protection plan. Pls deactivated my membership policy and refund the same into by account

    Also this is unfair that you cannot deduct the amount from the credit card without prior notice through call/message.
    And hdfc bank also has to recheck this issue with the auto payment modes.

    I din't expect this irresponsible behaviour from hdfc

      Hi there:

      I would like to report you about the misguiding incident happened on 16th november 2017 with opening of hdfc ergo health suraksha regain sum insured 300000 inr family floater plan with premium amount 17958/- for 2 years. On 16th nov[protected] inr debited from my hdfc regalia credit card ending 5042 against the purchased policy and policy got cancelled on 17th nov 2017 without any valid reason reported by akansha panwar (Relationship manager) who sold the policy to me and misguided till 27th december 2017 that policy is in procedure and will come soon to me. She told me that your premium amount has been increased so the policy has been cancelled.

      I don't understand why policy has been cancelled after payment made. I need a proper clarification from the department and compensation about the loss of increased premium amount. I could purchase policy from other companies but you guys left me no option as i have to pay premium as per different age slab. I had also words with hdfc ergo department and they confirmed policy hasn't cancelled by them despite delay and cancellation done by hdfc bank.

      Please revert asap that i can make decision as per my need.

      Hi, as per hdfc ergo health officials version premium paid by you through hdfc bank that they have recived the amount towards premium & now they have to issue renewal letter & official reciept so that policy is valid w/o any break. You may insist for the same.

        Hdfc has deducted total 1534 from my salary account. I have been following up from last 15 days but hdfc is not even bothered to answer. I have salary account in hdfc so i cannot close it. Please if someone listening please refund my money or plz help in refund. I am a patient of ankylosing spondilitis and it is very hard for me to do job. I am working just to fulfill my family needs. Please rbi, government of india if anybody can help. Hdfc bank doesnt cares about their customers. Please help if there is still humanity left.

              Payzapp had a cashback of 50% up to rs.100 on bookmyshow.
              I booked a movie on 6th november 17:06:17 hours for amount of rs.201.24

              It was promised that the cashback would be credited within 7 working days.
              But even after mailing to [protected]@payzapp.in many times and calling to only support center [protected] regularly the cashback has not been credited till now.
              Such fake apps should not be allowed to exist itself.
              Playstore is full of negative reviews now and i feel like uninstalling the app but i want my deserved cashback of rs.100

                I have submitted all the documents required to close personal loan viz. Application, account statement, print out of the email containing approvals for waiver of foreclosure charges, address and id proofs and cheque of my hdfc bank savings account for transferring amount to loan account, to hdfc dabwali branch (District sirsa, haryana) on 04/12/2017 at 9:30 am i. E. At the start of business hours. Complete two working days are over, so far the loan has not been closed. Also i have not received any satisfactory response from the branch manager., when i called him, he simply stated that he is trying and it will take time.
                I'm wondering how much time it takes to close an account.
                With the intrinsic and whole hearted i'm thankful to hdfc bank for waiving foreclosure charges in closure of personal loan which have created more value for hdfc bank in my heart but the response and behaviour of branch people has hurt me who are simply saying that we are trying to close the account for the last two days but it will take more time.
                Other than the interest loss for every passing day, being a banker it's really difficult for me to come again and again to the branch for a simple account closure.
                It's an humble request to your goodself to kindly intervene and get the account closed at the earliest.

                  Sir, i just want to inform you that till date i have not received my credit card and it is on the way. Beside of this i also request you to please deactivate one assist mfee from my credit card account and please refund these two amounts i. E. 1499/- in my credit card account.

                    Amount deduction by hdfc bank again without customer mistake!

                    I have an account with hdfc bank & i am an account holder with hdfc from many years. But few months ago i forgot to pay an installment of 2500 rs of a loan with bajaj finance & due to this bank has deducted minimum rs 300 rs for each trial atleast 30 times in last 1 year.

                    Is it fair banking? Does anyone know if bank has any valid reason to do this? I read that it has to do something with ech charges, but still what if some one tries to submit a cheque to take money out 1000 times and this same thing happens? Does it mean they will charge 50, 000 penality for this?

                    In my case it was a figure of 784+830+300+ which made a total of more then 30, 000 in last 1 year but i did not care bcoz they were deducting in peices 300 or 400 every month which is not a big amount for me, but this happens with atleast 10000 customers everyday, so it means you are cheating people in billions every day.

                    You already gave me this attack 6 months ago once & this time you did this thing again.
                    You combined all those small figures of those ach return & deducted more then 10, 000 rs in between 30th nov to 4th dec 31st dec.

                    I called your customer service. First 6 times call got disconnected & then 7th time finally got connected with saurav & he gave me illogical answers & tried to make me fool with his smartness as i was just born yesterday.

                    Last time i got a reply by one of your employee simarjeet kaur for the same concern which is also tagged in this email.
                    She only replied twice but after that no reply.

                    So hdfc bank i m going to close my account with you as soon as possible as you are bloody thief & as it was not my black money.
                    It was a money for which i worked hard for 30 days like anything & then i got it.
                    & i am going to suggest all my friends to make it viral and close their account as well with hdfc as they might also get this attack of a big amount deduction 1 day for no reason.

                      Myself rajkumar jain and i am a policyholder with hdfc bank that is sampoorna samridhi policy no : 15586092.

                      I am really disappointed with hdfc life insurance. I have paid the amount of almost rs. 245000 in past 5 years as premiums but i am getting 5000 rs. Less (239000) in return of this policy. This is not acceptable.

                      Before taking the policy one of your employee told"sir pay 250000 in return you will get almost equal to 5 lacks". Why you people are fooling common man. I am 60 years old man now you only tell me what should i do? Till now i have not collected my maturity amount and i am not going to until my queries are resolved.

                        My customer id is 67003366. It is an nri account.
                        I have forget my password of net banking. I'm not able to receive one time password to reset the pin since last 45 days. As i'm in abroad i cannot go to bank to give the change of mobile number. I call customer care more than 20 time to give solution. But they say its because of our mobile network operator. I discussed here with local mobile network operator, i'm replied they don't have any block for that.

                        I have applied for my debit thinks that it will help me to resolve my otp issues. They send me a rupay card only useful with atm without pin number and only for india. They why they need to send it to abroad.

                        Please consider i'm sitting in abroad i'm not able to do anything. Even my return back flight ticket is pertain on my net banking.

                        We have looked into the reported sample and we were not able to find any irregularity or issue in delivery. The message in question got a positive delivery report from our partner operator. Also, the test conducted on our internal resources didn't show any anomaly in delivery, All attempts reached correctly the targeted handset. At this point, the issue seems to be an isolated case. Hence please initiate one more attempt and confirm the date and time of attempt on [protected]@hdfcbank.com for further investigation.

                          Hi, i swipe my hdfc regalia credit card in bharat petroleum petrol pump located near moolchand hospital new delhi, in the month of oct'17. As per govt. Of india mandate if any one do digital transaction at petrol pump then automatically customer will get 0.75% cash back.

                          Hdfc bank unable to do so, and their customer care is also not supporting in this case. Even grievance redressal is unable to resolve it.

                          I am using other bank's credit card as well and never faced these kind of issues with them.

                          So far i found that hdfc bank has the worst customer care team compare to other banks. I am associated with hdfc bank for last 10 years but now i am thinking to leave them as they cannot take care of their customers.

                            I have applied for fast tag with application number hfr014691. I have made the payment 300 inr (200 for security amount & 100 as the top up amount) uploaded the required documents, following that i have uploaded the signed application form as well.

                            Since then i have been trying to contact hdfc for the application status on the toll free number but no one picks up. Sent an email to hdfc. [protected]@sahaj.co.in no response.
                            I'm not sure do i have to do anything else to get this application processed, what is the current status of the application. There are no updates regarding my application/money whatsoever. Let me know if my application is processed or not, at least i'll try another service provider.

                            Thanks for the response, As I mentioned in the original complaint I have Sent an email to hdfc.[protected]@sahaj.co.in but have received no response. Subject Line is "HDFC Fast Tag HFR014691" on December 4th. I tried reaching at [protected] & [protected] one number is not working and other one nobody picks the call.
                            I have been with HDFC for 5 years now and this is the worst experiance I had with them. I have sent another email with subject "FastTag ApplicationID HFR014691". Please let me know status of this application.

                            Any update on this issue, I received an SMS as fast tag is issued and activated. I haven't got any information on how and when I will receive it. I have sent couple of email to hdfc.[protected]@sahaj.co.in but no response. I hope this issue will be resolved soon and my RF ID will be sent to me via courier.                                 I approached my nearest hdfc branch for the closure of my dmat account before an year for its closure. There is no proper response from the bank staffs and am paying a penalty of 300 unnecessarily every month. I have sold all my shares and i dont have any shares in it. I have been in touch with the particular staff in the bank branch and it is of no use. Please do the needful.

                                  My home loan account[protected] was repaid before time. Cp policy was charged to insure the loan amount',. I paid loan amount before time so some of my policy amount was to be refunded to my sbi ac. I visited so many times to hdfc bank ajmer and every time they assured me to repay my policy amount. From last one year to till today no amount is transferred to my account.

                                  I am an HDFC customer and having good transactions in whether personal loan payment or credit card payment.

                                  But the bank charging more financial charges and Taxes without any reason.

                                  The hardly earned money goes unreasonably.

                                    Hi sir/mam,

                                    I am parthiban applied for a personal loan on 27/09/17. It was principle approved on 27/10/17 loan ref. No 52203016.

                                    The amount i got approval is rs.262, 768/- but i received rs 52, 731/-, so i checked with your customer care service they said we closed two existing loan in hdfc bank (One is 2.5lakhs and another one is 2 lakhs), but i have only one loan in hdfc bank that amount of 2 lakhs i taken at dec 2016.

                                    After that i raised the complain (Complaint no is 6268401), they rechecked and clarify that i have only one loan in hdfc bank (2 lakhs). But still now i did`t get the balance amount. So i raised a complaint again on 27th nov in customer care (Complaint no: 6355200).

                                    They replied, the reference number/docket number for this e - mail interaction is[protected], which is also mentioned in the subject line. We are looking into the same and will revert to you within 5 (Five) working days.

                                    But still now i did`t get any response from hdfc bank side. Can you please help me on this
