Hi My Consumer Id is 43732806. Rs 5000 has been debited from my saving account without my consent to open RD. Pl credit my amount. I don't want RD account. Who has given the right to open the RD account without my Consent. I want complete action against such type of activity. Even Bank not provided their branch no to contact. Verified Support Jul 04, 2017 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer, We understand that you do not wish to continue with the Recurring Deposit Account and want to liquidate / close your Recurring Deposit. You can liquidate your Recurring Deposits through NetBanking. This facility will be available for Recurring Deposit held under "Sole Owner (SOW)" relationship only and which are booked from Singly Owned Savings or Current Accounts. Following are the steps for liquidating your Recurring Deposit online: Login to NetBanking with your Customer ID and IPIN (NetBanking Password) Select " Liquidate R D " option under Transact Tab menu located on the left hand side, under Accounts tab. Select the Recurring Deposit account number from the Drop-down lists, and click on Continue. Verify the details and Confirm the Liquidation. A Confirmation page will be displayed, confirming that your Recurring Deposit has been liquidated. Alternatively, we request you to submit your Recurring Deposit advice or written instruction, duly signed by all account holders, at the branch for premature liquidation of your Recurring deposit. I came here after searching for this issue. I have closed the RD as per the instructions. But who the hell gave you permission to create a RD in the first place.
